I had my toddler's birthday party here and we regularly pop in for the cooking class which he loves and now know Sacha really well. It's such a gorgeous family-run place, affordable and the owners (parents themselves) are such lovely people who genuinely care. The majority of positive reviews on here say it all. Not sure what the sole negative reviewer's problem was, but their "review" definitely doesn't do this place justice. Yes it's fairly compact but the cafe and play space are perfect for energetic toddlers and adults who find regular soft play too chaotic. (We comfortably fit 15 toddlers and adults in here for the birthday party!) The cooking classes are brilliant, we both really enjoy them. As for the birthday party, it was completely stress-free from start to finish and everyone had fun. There are few places in London with such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and staff who actually care. Cannot recommend this place or the owners highly enough. Parking can be tricky, but I believe the Sobell Centre has a paid-for carpark - anyway we had loads of people driving to the birthday party and no one had issues. Places like this are so vital for the local community – please...
Read moreThis is a lovely little place to have nice meal and get your kids entertained for hours. Adults without kids can enjoy front of the cafe: bright, spacious and neat.
If you have, though, some 0-5 year old full of energy, the cute jungle play area at the back is fantastic. All the toys are new (they say they opened just 4 weeks ago), selection of puzzles, books, wooden train tracks, building blocks, soft toys... A nice wooden slide and super cosy nok under it for kids to enjoy books, share secrets or just role play with many toys. Unusual touch: a real jungle swing and even a toddler climbing wall at the very back. All looks safe, new and well organised.
Decaf latter I had was one of the best decafs in the area. Food is great and they have a separate special kids menu, also with a Caribbean touch.
All in all a great place for lunch and a must to visit if you have toddlers.
My little one loves the playground area at Wray Crescent, which is just around the corner. So with winter months coming up I think we will become frequent visitors warming up after outdoor play and checking on all those soft jungle animals at...
Read moreThis place doesn't exist on Google.maps (no pictures, no sign on the place) and that should be my warning. Website absolutely doesn't match the reality. It's like a little local take away shop with two tables and 4 benches. There is a small play area. We left without trying food, so can't comment. We booked table for 12, when my friend went inside no one paid attention to him, so he left. It might be a good option to take kids for local people but definitely not a place on the map where you'd drive from far *We did that. On top of that parking very limited, especially on match days (RingGo £32 for 2hrs...
