UPDATE 05.08.20
Managed to book a table for the Wednesday evening. Owner apologised when we arrived for the trouble. Very cute cafe, casual and minimalist vibe, very cute. Owner was very friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations gor menu. Food was delicious, highly recommend everything! We used the government's eat out scheme so was a bargain for such a large volume of tasty food. Just a shame there are no dessert options. Will be back, thank you for having us!

Booked a table for 8pm, enquired about gluten free options. Said he was unsure and would call me back. He never did, I then called again at 7.30pm to chase up the answer, he couldn't remember our reservation or any gluten free options. He then said that the table probably wont be available as the 'guests are still eating'. He couldnt say when it would be free and but that he would call me when it is. Read moreReally good and tasty kimchi fried rice. Done exactly the way I like it, without too much filling and lots of rice. Egg could have been cooked slightly more, but I am picky about uncooked eggs, so maybe that is how it should be.
The BBQ was a bit strange. I expected some bulgogi or just sliced beef... instead, it was a full piece of meat. Like a steak. A bit odd. No seasoning either. Unlike many Korean BBQs, you won't get any banchan. It is very bare bones, but the flavours are solid.
It was decent enough food, and the kimchi rice was excellent. Service was perfunctory. Not friendly, not rude. Just did her job and that's it. So, this isn't the sort of place where you're gonna be chatting with your server. It's very much a place to come to eat no frills Korean food. Just above a cafeteria in feel.
But it's got that neighbourhood vibe and is pretty chill, probably cos it was mostly uni...
