My family and I frequent your establishments, specifically the one in Lewisham.
The other day I ordered a sundae in the Lewisham store and it was far below the standards and expectation that I have come to expect from your establishment.
Most of the ice cream flavours were out of stock and therefore I had to change some when I ordered the product. Once it arrived to the table, all the other ingredients were missing making it nothing more than some ice cream in a cup.
After approaching the counter asking for this to be corrected, the member of staff proceeded to add the missing ingredients with the mediocrity and contempt that can only be delivered by those who really hates their jobs.
This resulted in a cup half filled with whipped cream and still no fruit.
I briskly returned to the counter and informed the previously mentioned disinterested individual of the fact that the fruit was missing. I was ceremonially informed that this was due to the fruit being out of stock.
Upon questioning the logic, or lack thereof, behind the decision to sell a product where the main components are out of stock, I received a sarcastic response along the lines of: "What do you want me to do? Should I go to another store to get the fruit?". Since this was clearly a suggestion, I happily accepted this offer, but to my surprise, the fruit did not materialise.
At this point I requested a glass of tap water. My request was turned down on the basis that although you have cups, you supposedly have no tap water.
I understand that we are currently in a heatwave but as far as I am aware tap water is still available in Lewisham.
I therefore kindly ask that you:
Reimburse me the cost of the sub par item and add a reasonable amount as compensation for the mental anguish that I had to endure in communicating with you staff.
Educate your staff and teach them basic customer service skills and remind them that customers ultimately pay their salaries.
I understand that a menial service profession is not for everyone, and that people may feel bored and unmotivated but there are other options available other than tormenting customers.
In closing, I understand that the correct process is to complain using the form on your website, this is wholly inadequate as there is a limit of 2000 characters. The kaspa’s failed to adhere to standard food packaging protocols. The food was delivered in a plain cardboard box without any protective bag or sealed packaging. This lack of proper packaging raises significant concerns about food safety and hygiene. It made the food vulnerable to potential contamination, tampering, or exposure to bacteria during transportation.
Due to these concerns, I had no choice but to discard the entire order to avoid any health risks. I also contacted the restaurant directly to inform them of this matter, but I believe this issue needs to be addressed at a broader level to ensure compliance with proper standards for food delivery.
I kindly request that you investigate this incident and ensure that all restaurants are instructed to meet strict packaging requirements.
