KFC Leyton Mills - Retail Park — Restaurant in London

Me and my dad came here yesterday (19/7/21) to order some KFC. It wasn’t a great experience and it was really frustrating.

First of all, all of the self order machines were really slow and we spent about 5 minutes for the receipt to come and confirm our payment. As we finished ordering, we went to the tills to wait for our food and we watched everything unfold before us. Our order was 7071.

There were two ladies, one with a head scarf and one without. The lady without the headscarf was preparing our meal and we could see her confused whether we needed corn in our order (we ordered the trilogy which did need corn), she walks up to the lady with the head scarf and asks her “ is there supposed to me corn in here?” to which the lady with the head scarf replies “no, don’t worry about it”. So the lady goes back to check our order, comes back to the lady with the head scarf and says “yes there is supposed to be corn” but the lady replied again saying “don’t worry about it, don’t add it” to which she didn’t. Me and my dad both watched the lady with the head scarf approach our bag before handing it to us and REMOVE the Mayo sauce which we payed for at the machine. My dad says to her “that sauce was already payed for” and the lady with the head scarf replies “ you need to pay more to have it”. This was really infuriating and after speaking to her , she got annoyed and tossed it back into the back and left.

As we drove away, we realised that she didn’t even give our 3 Pepsi’s which we also payed for (the lady with the head scarf). So we quickly drove back to return our meal as we would’ve been scammed by 7 pounds already. My dad returned and asked to speak to the supervisor. When the supervisor came, he was very wobbly and mumbled and looked as if he was drugged. My father asked him “ do you realise your workers are scamming people?” , and the supervisor replied with “ I know , sorry” . We then got a refund and we gave the food back to them as half the stuff was missing.

Please do not go to this kfc , many of the workers will secretly not give you small things like sauces and corn which you payed extra money for , make sure you also pay attention to how they prepare it.

Food is the same as KFC everywhere else what makes this branch terrible is the service. in my case they left our order on the counter for a while without calling the order number or trying to get our attention so we assumed they were waiting on something as we could also see there were things missing. when I enquired 10 mins later I was met by a rude Asian lady (baishida) who said it had been ready for ages and it was all our fault and we should have taken the food asking where we had been. I has simply shown the lady my receipt and asked if the order was ready no attitude or complaint so her response and rude attitude shocked me I replied I thought they were waiting on something and took the order and left. I later found out there order was missing 8 wings and 8 mini fillets. If there attitude wasn't terrible and they weren't rude this wouldn't be a problem as everyone makes mistakes. To add when asked they simply said we hadn't ordered them when presented with a receipt they quietly gave us them no apologies for the attitude lies or mistake. 6th of December 2025 after 4pm me and partner decided to have KFC… I ordered the two piece chicken meal and he had the zinger burger box meal. The first two pieces of chicken were very bad quality and the flesh of the meat was badly bruised and veins. I showed the staff and they knew it was bad and changed it straight away. The next two piece one was breast and thigh.. the thigh was very slightly but tasted old and the breast was dry and stringy and didn’t taste fresh. I ate what I could. My partner enjoyed his burger but his corn on the corn was very dry and I hadn’t experienced bad corn before. After leaving the the restaurant my stomach was hurting me and bubbling. I had to find a toilet asap and til the following day my stomach has been upset and too many times to the toilet. I knew I would be ill the chicken was very bad. Food is serious and KFC should be delivering better standards of food for the high prices. Food poisoning takes a huge toll on the body. It’s not good.
