Terrible branch of Burger King, which I normally like. Maybe we caught a bad day? They sell you stuff they don't have in stock, or pretend not to have in stock, what's that about?? (Read further for full details) The air conditioning didn't work and it was hot in there. It looked messy with dirty tables and overflowing bins. I asked someone at the till if someone could wipe down our table. There was a vague response and then nothing happened. We wiped our own table with napkins. It was a good 30 minutes more before anyone came to empty bins (never cleaned any tables). No soap in the loos, hand dryer didn't work... About selling stuff they don't have: we ordered food on the touch screens, paid and joined the long queue to collect our food. Eventually, when we got there we were told they had run out of all juice and water for the kids meals, would it be ok to have Coke from the dispenser. I wasn't happy. The poor guy at the till didn't seem able to handle this so I asked to speak to a manager, who promptly told me they had juice. She fetched orange juice and water, put them down on the side somewhere and went off (to fix the broken soft drinks dispenser). I waited. Nobody addressed me. I reminded the guy at the till I was waiting: he told me I could have orange juice. We'd ordered apple juice. Also, I found out my boy had been given regular chips rather than apple slices he'd ordered. In desperation I said I'd take the orange juices and some water also to make up for the errors in the order and the heat in the branch and the long wait. He told me in no uncertain terms he could not give me the extra water. I was upset and explained why I requested the water. The assistant manager overheard this and asked the guy to give me the apple juices, they had lots at the back. He promptly went and got me my apple juices! As I walked to my table, I heard him say to the next customer that they had no apple juice, would it be ok to have Coke from the dispenser. Is that a joke?! Unbelievable. The assistant manager didn't look bothered either, like she'd had a bad day and wanted to disappear in a hole. Terrible...
Read moreWe visited this Burger King, as our 3 year old daughter was complaining of being hungry whilst out and about shopping. I wish we hadn't bothered at all. The service was extremely slow. There was 1 person taking the orders. The touch screen ordering system wasn't working, not that we would use it, but common sense would be that your quick order system isn't working, so maybe put a few more people to take the orders? Then, when we were finally seen, there was no apology for the wait, the member of staff was unfriendly. I can understand her frustration, totally, but that shouldn't stop her apologising for the wait. Our order was taken and we went to find a table. All the free tables were dirty, and the rubbish bin was overflowing! We found a table that was slightly less dirty than the others and I used antibacterial wipes that I had in my bag to wipe the table down. We waited over 15 minutes for our food, again, with no apology. As we started to eat, we realised the food wasn't even hot. It was barely warm. There were also no tissues given. I went to ask for tissues and was stood waiting to ask for so long that I gave up, and again used what I had in my bag. Absolute joke. Read moreToday, I went to Burger King with my little family. While I was waiting to collect my food, I noticed a delivery driver who had been waiting for a long time. When he tried to ask about his order, a female staff member responded very rudely. She told him to cancel the order after making him wait so long, and she shouted at him even though he was calmly trying to explain that it wasn't his fault.
It was very upsetting to watch. Both my daughter and I politely requested her to just give him his food, but she ignored us completely and made him wait even longer without giving him the order.
She was also extremely rude to me. When I asked to speak to the manager, she shouted at me saying, "I am the manager, tell me what you want," and kept going on rudely. She didn’t have a name badge on, but I think I heard someone call her "Priyanka" or something similar.
I was at the store from around 4:40 to 6:00 PM, and she was the one working at the till during that time.
This is just to raise a concern — the delivery driver did nothing wrong, yet she tried to file a complaint against him. I saw it all myself and tried to intervene politely, but her behavior was unacceptable. Extremely poor service from the Burger King staff, because of this type of staff your brand...
