A Disappointing Experience
I recently visited Costa Coffee, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable coffee break, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The primary issues revolved around poor customer service and ineffective communication, which significantly marred my visit.
The lack of clear communication further compounded the problem. When I asked about the different coffee options, the responses were curt and uninformative. This lack of engagement and unwillingness to assist made the ordering process frustrating and unpleasant.
Overall, my visit to Costa Coffee was a letdown. The poor customer service and ineffective communication detracted from the ambiance and enjoyment of the caffe. For a brand that positions itself as a premier coffee destination, Costa Coffee failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations. We ordered 2 Bonfire Lattes (one with coconut milk) and a Gluten Free mince Pie. When putting my drink on the tray the girl spilled a lot of it but didn't seem to care so she passed it on without cleaning it up.
The drinks were okay, I was expecting more as a regular Costa customer but this was a Cinnamon Latte with some brown sugar on top. I don't know if this is normal and this is what Costa calls Caramel Vermicelli. There was no extra shot of syrup in our drinks maybe this is normal as well but I doubt it.
While enjoying our drinks another girl came out from the toilet in Costa uniform and rubber gloves. Another round later she strolled through the customer area with a toilet brush. It was awkward to say at least.
I will keep buying Costa coffee but the standards should be consistent...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I had to make a life changing decision. I walked into this branch to purchase a coffee (and use their toilet). The toilet stunk strongly of urine and it was evident that it had not been hygienically cleaned in some time. Not good. No excuses.
After I ordered my coffee the staff member gave me one packet of sugar. Not being over weight and liking a sweet coffee I asked her politely for a few more. She reluctantly gave them to me as if they were coming out of her kitchen at home.
I returned to my car to now drink my coffee and think about my decision.
I sipped on my coffee (Ā£1.49) and it tasted harsh, course and of very low quality. It was this experience with my coffee that helped motivate my life changing decision. With great thought and with the help of this disgusting coffee I have...
