One of the Worst KFC around,
This is one of the KFC around MILL HILL. I just live across the road since 2 years and we used to go once twice a week in this KFC,
Every time we use drive thrue service the like to do mistake, let me share all experience to you,
Once We drive used drive Thru servive around 9 to 9.30 pm, to place order we waited like 5-7 minutes there was no queue, only my car, but operater was busy somewhere, ordered a meal for music chicken popcorn drink and sweet corn on comb, as soon as we arrived to window saw there is no one to take payment, we waited 2-3 minutes a young man arrived took payment and gave us our meal, my son said “ Dad they are too slow “ , my son is only 5 year old, I said yes sometime they slow son, he replied McDonald is never slow next time I want to go there not here,
Never mind we arrived home saw in packet there is no corn comb in the pack, i was charged already , ( I have not been given receipt even ). Did not bothered to go Back and make complaint
Secondly, one day around 3.15pm order zinger burger meal for my colleague with medium chicken popcorns this time service was fast. Lady gave me zinger burger meal and said we waiting for chicken popcorn please park your car and I will bring you your rest of the order there, I waited there and service was fast within 2 mins someone case with bag of popcorns and quickly drive to my work place only 2 mile from kfc, when I reach there I handed zinger burger meal bag to my colleague he said where is my drink , I said search the bag, no drink there , I called they said sorry my colleague forget take the refrace number and when you come next collect your drink ,
Thirdly ,On same day around 4pm my wife went there ordered kids meal , ice cream & wings when the bag was given to her she searched the bag in front of them and said there is no ice cream & wings they said it is in same bag as kids meal but my wife gave bag to them to check they said sorry my colleague done mistake ,
Forhly ,one day we went to ordered my meal and kids meal as always when we went to pay and collect window once one came running to the window and said oh my god the before you forget to take this item they collected rest, I told them did you tell them to wait she goes no i gave they rest of the order but one item was left without telling them to wait I just to take, I forgot to tell them to wait she continued,
I said never mind too late to regret,
The manager of this kfc really need to look what’s happening there specially at drive thru service, because eat in people can come back to counter if something missing but drive thru people would not come back because it’s on on of bust junction A1 -A41 apex corner, no one have time to come back if they would have they would not like to spend petrol money to come back again for 1-2 pounds item, but manager , region manger really need to look at what’s happening there,

At 5.30 on a weekday, I pulled up at the drive-through behind a van whose driver had got out to shout 'hello... hello...' in to the order terminal, and listen for a response - nothing... he got back in his van, and drove off - which is probably what I should have done, if I hadn't already ordered and paid for my food via the app. So I stopped briefly at the terminal to check for signs of life; nothing. So I ventured round to the first (payment) window - nobody there - waited a few mins, then moved up to the collection window - also nobody there, but now parallel with the counter inside the restaurant, I could see one female member of staff serving customers there. Tried for a few mins to get her attention to no avail, so getting impatient, with other cars starting to queue behind me , and knowing my order had not yet been actioned for drive-through - having been ignored, I went back in to the app and switched from drive-through to collection, and marked as arrived, so the order would show up on their screens. Eventually a male member of staff with a headset appeared, and I managed to get his attention - when he opened the window I questioned what was going on, and why there was apparently no-one operating the drive-through for the past 5-10 mins, he was defensive & rude from hereon and told me I had to now come in to the restaurant to collect me food. Having been delayed and incovenieced already, I was not inclined to park and walk round to the counter that I could see through the window, from where I was sitting in my car - so politey insisted they bring my order to where I was now at the drive-through window. The rude man refused, and a stand-off ensued - he even threatened to call the police (which upset my son sitting in the car with me), to which I suggested a better solution would be to just get me me order, so I can get on my way - as the queue was now really starting to back up behind me. Rude man flounced off, and it took the diplomacy of the poor woman working there to concede to start preparing my order. Read moreHaving tried the drive-through previously (and didn't think the service, or the food quality was great) my son and I decided to eat in, hoping this second chance would be better. The first thing my son pointed out was that there were no self order screens; I wasn't that bothered but what did irk me was that in the absence of those screens, the customer service was extremely lacking. There was just one person serving at the till which had a queue of five customers; another KFC employee was just stood hovering around bringing packed orders to the front which were not for anyone in the line of waiting customers. The queue didn't seem to be moving because that one person on the till interrupted attending to the waiting customers to hand over the packed orders to delivery drivers/riders who appeared from the car park. Other than two people sat at one of the many tables eating, the restaurant inside was empty and the drive-through had three cars waiting so nobody can say the restaurant was 'extremely busy'. It is simply poor customer service. We tried to get the attention of someone else behind the tills but there was no interest from anyone. The body language appeared to be 'not my job'. We left and went elsewhere. There is a distinctly dated feel about the place and having been there twice on separate occasions there is no way I will chance making it a third. There is also no point in calling head office who will no doubt tell us they will be 'raising the issue with their business partner' in a bid to improve the service. As a customer-facing establishment, they have one chance to get this right and on two separate occasions the Apex Corner vendor has fallen way short of serving the minimum required standard. Use their car park to stop and search for an alternative.
