Railway Tavern — Restaurant in London

A friend invited me to the Railway Tavern for a drink with friends. I was pleasantly surprised having never been inside. The new management are getting good live music today to attract people on Friday bank holiday. We were served by Caitlyn who poured our drinks and was friendly. The facilities were good. I hope that the car park is made accessible for all customers, and that the pub remains open; these are a pillar of our society and are by their nature a community asset. They can also be hugely successful. Me and my friends are planning the annual clean air day walk on 20 June and will certainly consider which institutions the group will visit along the route to the far reaches of Edgware. They had football showing and plenty of space inside and out. Nearby we found some food which was felafel, fish and chips, and then came back for a 3rd pint. This pub is extremely safe and police have only been called out 3 times ever; as any trouble would be de escalated before their involvement. I have been to Railway Tavern in Mill Hill, Edgware, a few times and I think it is a beautiful pub! Very spacious, large spaces, well kept pub. Excellent and wide choice of beers, cocktails, whiskeys and non-alcoholic drinks! There are board games so this place is also suitable for families with children. Live music & dj set every Friday! Top! You can enjoy football, rugby and sports matches in general while drinking a good beer. Beautiful traditional pub and fair prices!! I met Peter, the owner of the pub, he is a very kind, friendly, attentive and competent guy in his work! Very enjoyable and pleasant atmosphere! Large private parking for customers. Large outdoor beer garden...relaxing! I recommend coming...

Recently, for the 1st time in 10 years, we visited The Railway Tavern, (as we reside in Australia). We have been pleasantly surprised by the new, young landlord, Peter, who is doing an excellent job in reviving the establishment, he is keen, personable and very enthusiastic and the place now has a great atmosphere. The place is no longer tatty, the clientele friendly and social, bar staff polite, friendly and efficient. With the introduction of live music on Fridays leads to a more upbeat pleasant environment. 10 out of 10 Peter & co for reviving the place. We will be back during our next visit that might be sooner rather than later. Looking forward...
