Bread selection has gone down the pan, always brought brown batch loafs from m&s mill hill...now they do no longer stock the large brown loafs, not buying a small one that's half the size for 10p less than the normal sized loaf, mean while you have 4 or 5 different types of white bread, you should be promoting healthier products and analysing what sells, even when you stocked the brown loaf it would sell out fast mean while all the white loafs are in place....what does that tell you? Brown loafs sell, would have been a much better idea dropping one if the many white style loafs you have rather than getting rid of the only brown loaf you sell that always sells out, beginning to understand why the Edgware branch will close, seems as though nobody is paying attention to what sells an what doesn't. Or what you have a lot of and what you don't. The only thing I can rate is the staff in the mill hill branch....give them a full 5*s, always friendly and always helpful. There probably getting bored of people asking them for brown bread now, help your staff, help you customer and keep them both...some thing will break otherwise. Currently I don't shop in there anymore...its always a disappointment when they don't have what you need in there without the brown loaf issue. Nothing will be done about it just happy to take your money!
*4 months on and struggling to even get a brown roll in the mill hill m&s..edgware one is closing...more variety in the m&s/BP petrol station on...
Read moreINFESTED FOOD! Bought a number of large Belgian chocolate biscuit 1KG tins at the end of November as Christmas treats and possible gifts. Obviously not all could be eaten at the same time. I opened one of the tins just before Christmas and was shocked and disgusted to find a huge spider inside the internal plastic wrapping as soon as I removed the wrap. The spider was quite active and quickly ran away. The following day I went to M&S Mill Hill Broadway where the goods were purchased. I was told that they have no stock of the mentioned item and to come back another day for exchange. In the new year I had a prolonged ear infection so I was not fit to go out due to cold weather. Yesterday I went back to the branch to exchange the infested food but was shockingly refused an exchange or refund by a lady by the name of Mary-Jane who claimed to be the branch manageress (more like a customer deterrent than a manager). I explained the scenario in details but Mary-Jane was not interested to resolve the issue and she lacked the very basic customer relation/satisfaction skills. So I just left the tin of chocolate biscuits on the counter as I was not prepared to eat infested food, and left. I am still shocked as how I have been treated by M&S, the most expensive food retailer selling infested food and not willing to at least honour customer's statutory rights. Customers are always wrong at M&S. Shame on you M&S! I will never buy anything...
Read moreI ordered some cooked food and went there to collect. I was there about 10.10 am or there about and waited at least 15 minutes or more before I was given the item ordered. There were at least 2 or maybe 3 people in the store dealing with my collection and somehow one thought the other was getting the order. Only after I intervened then they realised that nobody was dealing with it. When the person came out with my collection, she said that it was till in the truck! Was that an issue or my problem, I asked. That store have about 7 maybe more staff walking around busy doing what I have no idea. Anyway, not collecting from...
