KFC London - Old Street — Restaurant in London

Being a massive fan of KFC, I was hugely excited when this branch opened this year. Brilliant KFC branch! I have ordered here a few times now and I haven't been disappointed! The staff members are very friendly and helpful and the customer service here is brilliant! This KFC branch is clean and without a doubt well managed. It is very organised and not a massive mess like the KFC branch in Aldgate East! The food is served here quickly and professionally it is extremely fresh too! As usual, amazing and delicious KFC chicken and the burgers here are well organised and delicious! There are 6 self service machines here which work well. I absolutely loved the Vegan Burger it was delicious and trust me heavy meat eaters will enjoy it and it was my first try from this branch! It tasted well seasoned and was packed full of flavour. The Vegan Mayo was absolutely delicious! The chicken here is halal which is a great added bonus! I absolutely love the salad options too you can enjoy KFC in a healthy way. Overall, I strongly recommend this KFC branch to you!

Update in 2022: This KFC branch is definitely the best KFC branch I’ve ordered from! Much better than KFC branches in surrounding areas such as Liverpool Street, Aldgate East and Bethnal Green! I had a disappointing experience at this KFC branch. I tried to order using the self-service machine, but it wasn’t working. When I asked a staff member, she told me to go to the front counter. I waited patiently, but the staff ignored me and continued with other tasks. I politely asked several times if I could place my order, but was told “I’ll be back” and left again.

Eventually, I noticed other customers getting served before me, even though I had been waiting longer. After about five minutes of standing by the counter, another staff member told me to go back and order from the self-service machine—which was still out of order.

I felt overlooked and disrespected, despite being calm and polite the entire time. It was frustrating, especially since I was in a hurry. I hope the management can improve customer service and staff...

This has to be the worst KFC I’ve ever been to. The place is disgusting tables are filthy, bins are overflowing, and the floor is sticky and covered in crumbs. Clearly no one bothers to clean during the day.

You can wait up to 20 minutes for just 3-5 hot wings. Always understaffed and I dare to imagine what the kitchen looks like.

The staff don’t care at all. No smiles, no apologies, they just shrug and carry on chatting amongst themselves while customers wait.

And don’t be fooled by the fake 5-star reviews you see online. It’s obvious they’re written by friends and family of the staff to make the place look better than it is. No real customer would give this place 5 stars after seeing the state it’s in.

I won’t be coming back here. Avoid this branch it’s a joke.
