I had an extremely disappointing experience at Khan’s Khari and feel it’s important to highlight the issues I encountered. I specifically told the staff not to include raisins in my biryani as I am allergic. When the food arrived, I found raisins in it. When I brought this to their attention, the staff member simply said, “Only a little bit,” as though that made it acceptable. This demonstrates a shocking lack of understanding of how serious allergies can be, which is incredibly irresponsible and dangerous. To make matters worse, I ordered a samosa that never arrived, yet it was included on the bill. I also had to ask four times for our drinks before they finally brought them over. The lack of care and attentiveness was extremely frustrating. When I raised my concerns, instead of apologising or attempting to resolve the situation, the staff argued with me. There was no acknowledgment of how serious the consequences could have been for me, nor any effort to compensate for their mistakes. I left feeling upset, ignored, and undervalued as a customer. This was an appalling experience, and I hope the management takes urgent steps to educate their staff about allergies and improve their overall service. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

First time I walked in no one payed any attention to me. Went to the next shop and 5min later I returned. As they didn’t had any description or pricing labels of the dishes, was really hard to know what are you looking at if you are not part of their culture ( I’m white European ). All I was seeing is dishes and aluminium boxes. So I asked the guy how much a box cost and he said £6, then I asked which one is what and he was giving me the authentic name of the dish ( that didn’t speak anything to me), just say rice with chicken, a box cost £7. Instead he was expressing a frustration for asking simple question related to the food he sells. I asked for a rice with some sort of meat in it, and he said or you can’t have that is inky for families and cost £14, than I said you can’t give me a one box of this and then he agrees to make a “compromise” and give me one. The box with the rice had no meat in it!!! What a scam. At the time of the payment they charged me only £4,50 and I was nice enough to say, hey you charged me less, and then they charged me an additional £8. I should of walked off right there if I knew they didn’t put any meat. The food was tasty but the service and the approach were BAD.

Not exactly the Ritz but one should venture out of the city into the gritty suburbs and discover true authentic food cooked the way it was meant to be (well it is Hounslow!) If you are visiting Heathrow and on way back to central then it's a perfect pit stop with plenty of parking outside. Lamb charsi Karahi was fantastic...melted in your mouth with strong black peppery kick..ask for more fresh chillies though if you like it spicy as it's other flavours are compelling. You can order a kilo, half a kilo or a quarter of a kilo, i went for half a kilo for 2 ppl and had to have most of it packed to takeaway. The chapli kebab was huge and tasted superb, a meal in its own right. Seekh kebabs were dry boring and chewy , don't bother with them. Looking forward to the weekend breakfast of authentic Halwa puri and some Nihari...luckily I have a spin and shred gym class after. Service was fine and slow...and all for £30 quid with a cpl cans of 7up...like I said...it ain't the Ritz.

My mother in-law ordered a takeaway for a family event last night. Today we have 5 family members who are unable to work or care for their children due to contracting a severe case of gastroenteritis. We ordered chicken salaan which appeared to be fine as well as lamb saag, tasted fine although there seemed to be more bone than lamb. The issue was the Afghan lamb pilou… the meat was clearly uncooked and off. I avoided eating it as the lamb shank looked like it was still alive and ready to run off the plate. It was extremely pink and chewy. My mother in law called khans to complain and she was met with a rude and unhelpful member of staff. Who admitted that the lamb pilou was bad- offered to make another one for free… NO THANKS. Was not offered a refund for the rest of the meal because it was “fine” we would have expected a full refund, an apology and at this stage compensation for loss of earnings!! I have seen many people complaining about the food here being uncooked and the like. I have no choice but to make a complaint to the local authority and food standards agency. AVOID this place if you have children to attend to or work the next day...
