Ok food but not so great an experience or perception of value. There are better Turkish/Mediterranean style restaurants to visit in London than this one. Ordered 2 Mojitos before ordering food and at £9.50 each was expecting it to match the quality of dedicated cocktail bars as that is the price of the best one I have visited in Shoreditch. The mojitos had what I can only describe as a hint of rum and tasted like it had come out of a Bacardi can and added a bit of crushed ice and fresh mint. It was kindly returned to the bar staff and we declined to have more rum added as we shouldn't have to point out that the main ingredient of a cocktail is barely noticeable at that price per cocktail. After this chicken wings and lamb chops were ordered. The chicken wings and seasoning were in my honest opinion plentiful in quantity but a bit bland and average tasting. The lamb was devine and very tender the only high point of all the items ordered. The green salad at £5 was basically a bowl of green lettuce and leaves. Not impressed. At £6 for a single shot of jack daniels and £3 for essentially was a serving of a can of diet coke they are very thin on the line of being more expensive for simple drinks than bars and nightclubs. To add insult to injury despite returning the 2 mojitos after only a couple of sips they were still on the bill which the same waiter entered into the till to produce the receipt. When questioned she said sorry i forgot to remove it... Hmmm. Overall at £50 I was left feeling underwhelmed by the cocktails and most of the food. I will not be a repeat customer unfortunately. They have a lunch menu at I think 2 courses for £10 at certain hours (I think 12-3pm) on weekdays. This is the only thing I would mention may be worth a visit before visiting and spending a couple of hundred quid on a family meal. Receipt attached as proof.

We were a group of six with a child, we asked the waitress if one mix grill would be enough for us and she said it should be enough and if not we could order more. We were happy to order more food on top as suggested if it wasn't. Taste was good considering we waited 1 HOUR and 35 MINUTES to receive the order. However we were discouraged to order more food due to the long preparation time. Extremely slow service, Portions are super small and one of the waitress was repulsive enough commenting on us in Turkish to her colleague "theyve made it quite messy here" despite stacking plates on table for their ease of collection, this made is feel a little unwelcome. Majority of the staff were respectful and did try their best, food tasted good, venue was clean, but as a courtesy it would have been appreciated if waiting times was mentioned before placing order, as 1.5hours wait is not very acceptable. burası alkol alan yabancılar icin daha musaittir, aile ortami icin fazpa musait deildir , cunku bekke suresi cok uzun ve porsyonlar cok kucuk.

Kirvem should be the best Turkish restaurant in London, it has the ambience and delicious menu options. It’s also a lot easier to reach than it might first appear, being just two stops from Bank on the DLR. Prices are also reasonable considering the good portion sizes, with one notable exception which is so un-Turkish and disappointing… Unfortunately something as simple (and important) after a Turkish meal as Turkish tea is a whopping £2.35 per tiny glass. Now yes this is London, not Türkiye - where it would always be free, but even in the UK it will often be complimentary and part of good Turkish hospitality. It’s mind-blowing that for four people dining together, a post-meal glass of çay for each person will increase the bill by over a tenner once service is added! Also, if you are a fan of lahmacun, you will be disappointed by the minimal amount of mince on top. You will find much more generosity in other London Turkish restaurants. I do recommend Kirvem, but culturally it’s a bit hit and miss.

This place is just straight up awful. As soon as we came in; my family was not greeted and as soon as soon as we came in. They bombarded us with the fact that we can't have our birthday cake in here without paying for 1.50 per head baring in mind there was 13 of us. Since we were celebrating a birthday; we expected to be able to document it by taking photos. And the environment was so dark that we needed flash; but we were soon confronted that we aren't allowed to take flash photos but we weren't given a reasonable explanation. However whilst the manager was telling us about the photos; the family behind us took flash photos but they weren't told anything. We then ordered the food and the service was slow; and the main course was cold by the time it came to me. The prices were extremely expensive and the service charge was ridiculous. also, when we finished eating; we were still sitting and the cleaners decided to start cleaning the table which lead to them getting rice on my cousins lap. And when we told her to stop cleaning; she told us to wait. So we ended up getting the bill and we were so appalled of the service; that we didn't want to pay the service charge. They seemed to have a problem saying it's a must and their service was exceptional; but it really wasn't. The two they had a big argument and the manager was so rude to everyone. So to sum it up; don't waste your money on mediocre service and...

Absolutely racist. It is such a shame that in 2024 racism still exist. My family and I just came from an amazing worship night and decided to come in for dinner. The lovely waiter told us to take a seat whilst waiting for our table, within one second the manager ran towards us and was extremely aggressive and annoyed at the fact that we took a seat. He proceeded to treated us terribly , he said why are we sitting and not standing up “this is a restaurant you know” he then further said ‘now that you’ve sat there do you think I’d want my other customers to sit there’ then he became even more aggressive and said “this is a restaurant you know” the most interesting thing about this all is I am a lawyer and humbly can afford the whole restaurant, to be frank, I’ve sat at restaurant higher than this. It’s such a shame that my family was treated like this simply based on our skin and nothing else and to top it, everyone in the restaurant was white at the time. At no point we’re we rude and we even attempted to make him aware of how he treated us , to make matters worse as we left due to feeling extremely uncomfortable, he held the door open with a smile. Please think before spending your money , whether you are white or black , please be aware where your money is going and the kind of person it’s going too. It so sad that people still...
