Wow. First time at Limehouse station and we’ve decided to go to Southend beach. We aren’t really sure of the way so I asked the guy in the ticket office (not sure of his name but he’s working there now) I said which platform to get to southend (I was not appear you needed a ticket) he replied without words (platform 2) but instead he showed me two fingers while he played with his hair??? I thought that was odd already but proceeded to go to platform 2 touching in with Apple Pay he shook his head aggressively and came out the room and said no you need a ticket! I said oh I didn’t know he said touch out quick because it’s going to charge you I was soooo confused I literally walked out and he said “you don’t listen! I said touch out!” I touched out. This is not how you speak to customers we need assistance sometimes and this is obviously your job and I’m sure you have 1000’s of people come into the station everyday that need your help. Please do better and don’t belittle or make someone feel stupid. And try and use some words instead of showing the number 2 you could have said “platform 2 do you have a ticket?” Simple as that. Extremely upset and never had anyone talk to me like that before. I wasn’t rude I didn’t do anything to him I was just confused. But instead of helping he’d rather play with his hair. Great customer service.

This station especially at peak times can get extremely busy normally within the mainline station platforms due to thier slimline design . But superb links to the centre of London with the DLR . And city airport in the other direction .For mainline C2C services you can travel to any station within the line from here. The only thing that lets this train station down is no toilet ...

A massive thank you to the staff at Limehouse Station who looked after my daughter this morning. She was standing on a packed train heading to Fenchurch Street when she felt like she was going to pass out. A member of staff spotted her getting off the train, got her some water and sat with her until she felt better. Several more staff came to help.Great customer care this...
