Kyoto Sushi Bar in Cockfosters, London, is a great place to enjoy high-quality sushi. The fish is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu features a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. I would highly recommend the Ebi Tempura Roll, the Salmon Sashimi, and the Wagyu Beef Gyoza. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a great value for your money. One of the things I love most about Kyoto Sushi Bar is the atmosphere. It is a very relaxed and casual restaurant, making it perfect for a weeknight dinner or a weekend lunch with friends. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I would highly recommend Kyoto Sushi Bar to anyone looking for a great Japanese dining experience in London. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable.

I’ve been excited to try Kiyoto sushi bar since I saw that they were renovating the shop. The area was missing an amazing Sushi place and Kiyoto delivered that. We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Roll, Tuna sashimi, salmon and avocado roll with tobiko, chicken teriyaki and rice, rock shrimp with spicy Mayo Yuzu sauce and black cod miso and rice. The portion sizes were filling and the sushi was fresh and tasty! The only thing I suggest is that the salad that comes with the black cod was quite a lot and that the shop got a bit chilly as the air con was on, we did kindly ask for them to switch it off when we arrived but it was turned back on after half an hour, so maybe bring a cardigan. I’ll definitely be dining at Kiyoto Sushi again!!

When this Japanese restaurant opened I was so overjoyed I couldn't wait to see what they had to offer. I was greeted with friendly staff straight away. I ordered the Salmon and Tuna set. It came beautifully presented, with tuna Hosomaki, salmon & avocado, salmon and tuna Nigiri, and salmon and tuna Sashimi. Accompanied with some ginger and wasabi. Making it a colourful dish. To go with that I ordered the Rock Shrimp Tempura which is basically shrimp cooked in batter. It came with a spicy mayonnaise and ponzu dressing to dip them in. Presented in a nice wooden cup traditionally used for drinking sake in. I shall come back for that. Whether it be lunch or dinner, this place makes it a joyous occasion. I will be returning. ^_^

Sadly the extremely poor sevice has let down the hardwork of the sushi chefs. We arrived at 2pm to be told that the restaurant would close at 3pm. Despite having an hour to dine, they were inattentive. I went to the till to order because it was our first time there and neither waitress came to our table. After ordering, every other table received their dinnerware and chopsticks, along with their drinks before their food. A couple who arrived after us received their food before us, prompting me to ask where ours was after they finally brought our drinks over. The white female, who took our order, eventually brought our food over but there was no cutlery or crockery so she picked up dishes on display at the counter and plonked them on our table. No manners, no smile or use of customer service. Her attitude made me feel as if I should be grateful to her. If she was the senior member of staff, she seemed more concerned with take away orders than us. She didn't apologise or say anything. The other, black waitress, later came and aplogised when I asked for the bill. She gave a 10% discount but sadly the experience is a big part of the rating when dining out. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant because of this. The sushi is delicious but the terrible service leaves you disappointed and angry before you even taste their food. There are many restaurants in Cockfosters, with incredibly high standards, and sadly this one is not on that level. I won't be going back and suggest that training is provided for the waiting staff. They lacked energy and basic...

Delectable food Distinctive service Warm environment Friendly and respectful staff. I came to know of this restaurant from online live streaming with Chef yogiMohan. I absolutely luv the work environment he has with the staff, the quality of the suchi and other food they make, also the artists display in presentation. Yes, of course I certainly wanted to taste the delightful suchi and jumped at the 1st chance even though the travel was long, it was definitely worth it. The plesant staff, environment and attentive care they give was uniquely appropriate. The meal was beyond delicious, usually I have alot of sauce or dip whenever am eating suchi, however, the way these were prepared all you needed was a little dip ofnthe soysauce to enjoy each bit. Without fai everything was fresh, crispy. Palette pleasing, art to the eyes, bursting with fragrance of just wanting more. There were dimensional levels of texture to each chew from crunchy, smooth creamy, and fireworks of explosion with the Salmon Roe. I am most certainly returning for my Nephew to have this wonderful experience whenever he visits UK. I do highly recommend this Sushi bar to all those who wants a quality suchi meal. There is a wide menu for those who prefer other Japanese options such as salads, soups, cocktails, Sashimi, Nigiri, Katsu meal and Teriyaki...

Fabulous location and idea, no kids menu, not child friendly, a lady had to make a grownup chop sticks out of napkins, children nearly injured them selfs, making restaurant child friendly and safe is mandatory and absolutely insane that no child menu in a heavily family populated area no wonder they are empty during the day.

Back toilet area looks bit dirty, there was a man smoking who appeared to be a chef with doors open next to the toilets making the whole area smell of secondhand smoke, not to mention the thought of my chef who made my food has spread cigarette smell on my food that I eat.

Ordered grownups ramen for kids never new that breaded chicken is mixed into ramen who does that?? You grill the chicken instead! breaded chicken tasted like soaked bread in a pot

Ramen was full of oil and spices, had loads of cabbage, why mushrooms confused?!? which made ramen taste awful such a beautiful dish ruined

Ramen should consist of fresh noodles, fresh vegetables stacked nicely on top not mixed in, with options of grilled chicken and steak nicely sliced served to enjoy

Something to think about to make this place better as it could be amazing…..

However staff at the front was amazing polite

My...
