I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kulcha Express in Southall, and it was an unforgettable experience! As an enthusiast of Indian cuisine, I can confidently say that this restaurant truly captures the authentic flavors of India.

I opted for the Amritsari Kulcha Thaali, and it was nothing short of amazing! The kulchas were perfectly cooked, with a delightful blend of spices that made each bite a burst of flavors. The accompanying chana masala/chole was equally delectable, and I couldn't resist ordering an extra bhatura to savor every last bit of it.

One aspect that stood out to me was the value for money this place offers. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised to find special discounts available, making the experience even more enjoyable.

We went for dinner to this place, And ordered 2 vegetarian curry with tandoori roti and naan. The staff is not at all professional,we were three still they gave us 2 plates and I had to ask for third one. When the girl brought both the curry bowls,we expect out of professionalism she should bring them either in tray or on plate but she brought in her hands that too her fingers holding the bowl edge and her palm was above food ,I mean yukk, there was no garnish of cream or corriander on top and when asked they gave me reason that any sweet vegetable curry doesn’t have garnish ,I mean this was the first time I was listening,and even if we admit than too I didn’t order sweet curry so than how do they justify this ,they were so adamant and rigid to admit their mistake. Than they served tandoori roti which in a Punjabi junction is expected prepared in tandoor and has different texture and flavour ,but when I said it is not a tandoori roti they said yes offcourse it is else what I think it is’ this is way they treat customer who say something right. There was zero flavour in food, food can be eaten only because it was hot..no water was served on the table before or after meal. Even till the end they didn’t agree to what I said to them they were just concerned for the pay check,and that this matter doesn’t get high pitched at their restaurant,pathetic food,worst staff and even worse is...

I walked into the shop which had maybe 1 or 2 customers and got given disgusted faces by the employees i was seated and asked the waitress for some water with ice and got given warm water with no ice i had to re ask the staff member for ice by which time i had manage to finish the water i was given for small pieces of ice between two people. In this time i placed my order which was a mixed grill, pappri chaat, one butter naan and chole bhature with two bottles of coke. The mixed grill and pappri chaat came out and i proceeded to eat amd once finished i patiently waited for the rest of my order. The waitress carried on joking around with the other staff and serving other people. I made eye contact at 14:35 with the waitress who seemed to look at me but simply ignore my presence. At 14:40 i got up and went to the till and asked as to why after being in a restaurant for 40 minutes was i still waiting for my food to which i got told it only takes 2 minutes to prepare but couldnt give me a valid reason as to why i didnt get my order. I chose to leave but when attempting to pay the bill i discovered there were items on my bill which i hadn't received or consumed this is the most appalling service and would never recommend to ever use this restaurant this isnt the first time the staff have done this to me all they are interested in is playing music and talking...
