Pizza Hut Southall (Halal) — Restaurant in London

I am not one to complain and in most cases I am very tolerant of most people and also when shopping I understand that most people are under alot of pressure to deliver.However, I visited the take away Pizza Hut store in Southall on the 8 August. I was served by a young female lady. I was just so surprised as to how rude, unhelpful and impolite she was. I was even more shocked to see that she was even allowed to be on the counter with her attitude. She had no patience nor could she be bothered explaining to customer clearly when taking there orders and was completely uninterested in trying to explain to me, or the customers after me the menu. She wheeled the list off to everyone that attended so fast, considering that a majority of the local people that use the take away service are of ethnic origin and would struggle with the speed with which she spoke. I found her attitude and customer services skills completely unacceptable. She belittled everyone she spoke to, making them feel as if they were dumb. Asking her to clarify something she would get into a huff about having to repeat herself. I deal with customers myself on a daily basis and I was just so amazed that she can be allowed to carry on like, with the manager of the branch being present right besides her. She did not even explain the offer of buy one get one free clearly to me. She only gave me one pizza and the free one I had to call up to clarify why I had not received it the following day, only to be told that I was entitled to it and should have said. I too felt so intimidated by her that I did not bother asking her to clarify why she had not added the free pizza. Whilst there she had 3 customers who's order she messed up as well. She needs to be taught some manners and customer skills else she should get herself another job. I suggest that you send in one of your mystery shoppers if you have any and get them to get an experience of how she deals with them !!! Our previous pizza (two weeks ago) arrived cold as the driver refused to come to our building door so we had to meet him outside Tesco (approx 5 min walk from our flat). When I called the Southall branch to share my feedback, I spoke with the manager who kindly offered me a free pizza as a gesture of goodwill. I was told that I will need to call and ask to speak to the manager to redeem the pizza - ok no problem. I called earlier to place a pizza order so I redeem the free pizza (& pay for two additional pizza) and the Customer service was terrible, I was so shocked on how bad it was! Firstly English clearly wasn’t their first language which is fine (it’s not mine either) but I honestly couldn’t understand what he was saying, I asked to speak for the store manager and then was told that he is the manager (which is very hard to believe as he’s English wasn’t good at all), when I said that he wasn’t the person I spoke with two week ago, he said that there are 4 stores managers (again hard to believe that a small take away store has 4 manages). I was then told I can’t place a order over the phone nor can he help me because the manager is on holiday - I thought he was the manager like he said? From this I was then told that the manager is busy (apparently he’s back from his holiday after a min) but to call back later because he’s busy. He then hung up the phone. The worst pizza hut ever! My brother placed an order over the phone for one texas meat pizza and one chicken supreme. Order arrived an hour later with both texas pizzas which is not what we had ordered. The delivery man was silent and just stood there staring at my face which was ridiculous and a bit weird too. We called up the southall pizza hut branch to report this issue and the man said he will send out the chicken supreme. Another hour later, the pizza arrived late as per usual from southall and they gave us a supreme pizza which had beef and peperoni on there. I don't eat beef and that is not what we asked for so we called up again to complain and the man who said his name was 'prabkitkatleen' said we ordered a beef pizza. How ironic. The delivery man who was the same as before stated 'I don't know what you ordered on the phone', of course, to cover up for his southall branch, nothing new. He again stared at my face and was clueless. All I can say is Prabkitkatleen was rude and did not understand a single word of English. He said he was the manager but was extremely rude and accused us for ordering a beef pizza.. very interesting experience but all I know is that I shall never be ordering from this dodgy pizza hut again.

Please be aware, they do not understand English, they speak jibberish and talk about their customers to the drivers in front of us! No professionalism and of course an expected terrible service as per usual!

So thank you Prabkitkatleen for sending us the wrong pizza twice! I do hope you learn to understand customers better in the future!...
