Absolutely loved our Sunday lunch at this charming pub in Richmond — what a delightful surprise! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with that perfect balance of cozy and lively that makes you want to stay all afternoon. The Sunday roast was truly fantastic, and I can’t recommend the porchetta enough — tender, flavorful, and served in seriously generous portions. If you go, make sure to save room for dessert: the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world, rich and indulgent in all the right ways. A special shoutout to our server Joshua, who was absolutely charming. He managed to strike that ideal mix of professional and easygoing, making us feel right at home without ever missing a beat. We’re already planning our next visit and have officially added this place to our list of favorite spots. Can’t wait to come back!

Very comfortable indoor space and if the weather is nice there is a gorgeous outdoor garden/patio. The food and service are both better than average. I definitely plan to return. #recommended Update: I've been there three times now and love the newly renovated decor, and I don't always get the burger. There are a ton of good choices on the menu and I haven't gotten the same thing twice. Note that, as is common in English pubs, if you go on Sunday, the menus tend to be oriented around the "Sunday Roast" options. This is a very generous amount of food in the category of "stuff that comes with the roast" but the rest of the menu may have less overall variety than you'd find on a weeknight.

Lovely medium rare cooked roast. The Yorkshire puddings were delicious and perfectly made. Each one was individual and that's when you know they are FRESH! Lots of children and dogs so be mindful of that if you don't like babies crying and warbling, or whimpering dogs. Otherwise if you do like the fluffy cute companions, this place has so many! Will recommend the beer and ale selection from.a friend who who drinks. Craft ales. Brewed in Britain, even if the pub is a Young's Chain they do not scrimp on the amount of food. And the quality is divine. Price is good too, ratio of food on plate to the amount is not too much nor too little. Just right after a lovely walk in Richmond park.

A group of us, four former work colleagues meet up 4 to 5 times a year but the Christmas Lunch is always the priority, ringfenced in our diaries. In former years we frequented another Young's pub in Wimbledon and although our experience there was wonderful, for the sake of a change, we decided to have our Christmas lunch at The Lass o' Richmond Hill. We were not disappointed. The 3 course lunch was a delight to the tastebuds and the service was perfect. I admit that we were the only group having lunch at the time but that does not necessarily guarantee attentive service. We were greeted warmly, served promptly, offered drinks at intervals, and were even asked if we wanted a pause between the main and sweet course which we took. The service was sensitively efficient, not being intrusive at all. We were there 2 and a half hours which passed so quickly. The ambience is cosy particularly in the winter with real fires blazing in the fireplaces, and the comfort of the leather arm chairs makes this a superb venue to luxuriate over a drink. Beer prices are average for Richmond and if you visit in the summer there is the rear garden to enjoy your drink in the balmy warmth of a summer's evening. The only feature that stops it being 100% perfect is the access to the toilets. These are located on the first floor up stairs that double back. Anyone with mobility difficulties would find these difficult or inaccessible. So whether its a swift half or a celebration meal with all the trimmings or anything in between The Lass o Richmond Hill will meet your...
