Jerk Munchies — Restaurant in London

Its a small take away, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I went for a small jerk chicken on the bone with rice and peas and the jerk bagel with the chips. The flavour was amazing, you could taste the barbecue on the jerk chicken and the jerk sauces. However, some parts of the chicken was a bit over done that it was dry. The bagel was sooooo good. The chicken was both soft and flavourful. The chips were amazing. Crunchy exterior and soft inside, I'm not sure what seasoning was used but I need it at home! It also came with a jerk sauce on the side. The price was very reasonable for the portion I got, £13.50 for both meals. I will definetly be going back to try some...

I'm going to give it two because I want to support small local businesses but I'm being generous. I ordered the jerk rice box, there wasn't much chicken at all, very little actual jerk or pimento flavour. It was fine however the rice was undercooked completely and super dry. I'm disappointed, I expected a lot. Dry nearly crunchy rice, small pieces of chicken that might as well just have been roasted, no flavour. We ordered the mac and cheese and fries, both of which they didn't have so they sent plantain instead. Plantain was good but not really like for like to a whole portion of fries. The worst place to buy from I bought from many Jamaican places and this is the worst by far. Worse than school dinners . They take no pride in how to present the food and portions are so small that you might aswell buy 3 meals to fill you up.rice is dry and taste from 3 days ago, prawns are the smallest ever not king prawns as advertised and for the chicken it was not jerk. They have a chicken breast cut in small cubes with some sauce. I made an order online and they sent everything wrong did not follow any instruction and wasted money and time.
