Le Croissant D'Or — Restaurant in London

Last Saturday, I went there with my wife. We ordered one continental breakfast and two egg benedicts. Firstly, we had to tell the waitress (a small, skinny girl) the order three times. When the food arrived, only one egg benedict came. We thought the second one must be on the way, so we started eating. But the second order never came.

We thought it’s okay—if they didn’t respond even after telling them three times, then fine. After finishing the food, I went to pay. That same waitress was standing there to take the payment, and she was charging us for two egg benedicts. I told her, “We ordered two but only received one.” She replied, “No, we gave you a pastry with jam and now you can take a drink from the fridge, so that makes up for the two items.”

When I asked further, she told me she’s new here. I mean, this is their standard? At the very least, train your staff properly, and if a mistake happens, instead of apologizing, they try to loot customers and think a drink will compensate for it?

Hello there owners of This nice little coffee shop. The other day there were a few people with two doggies outside, I ordered a couple of almond Croissants (the dogs thoroughly enjoyed them), but the woman I was with was drinking her vodka to the point of being quite drunk!!!. I would just like to say, I felt bad because I was with the couple and I had mentioned to her several times not to be so in your face about it, I have been here before and I wouldn't and didn't carry on like the vodka drinking woman(rude, loud and brash not to mention drawing attention, I don't usually care what others think, but there is a time and place for such behaviour!!!). Also all of the wrong attention was coming our way, I would just like you to know that your business needs less of this custom. Blessed Be...

My son and I have eaten in this place before. When we ate here the food was very nice and very hot. The only real downside of this cafe is it's lack of good customer service. Today was the second time that my son and I went to this cafe. There was no welcome and we were ignored while sitting down waiting to be served. It wasn't even busy! Later on we were given a menu. To tell you the truth, I was offended by the lack of customer service received. My son and I just walked out and went somewhere else for lunch. If you want good food come to this place. But if you want good food AND great customer service, go...
