WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. The owner is extremely rude, When I questioned him about the portion sizes as every plate or bowl that came out was half empty he stood over me very close started to wave his arms near my head and started arguing with me. The platter for 6 to 7 was just about enough food for 4 people. They use tiny dinner plates to make the food look like a lot. He tried to charge us for ice. The lamb shish tasted old and was hard. The waiteress doesnāt know how to serve. She was leaning over us and throwing things down onto the table, placing plates and bowls of food on the end of the table so most of the party could not reach them. If you want to pay Ā£7 for a plate of hummus which looked like it had been skimmed on by a plasterer be my guest. They charge extra for tomatoes and cucumber if you ask them why itās missing from the salad. Overall the worst Turkish place I have been to and I have tried many. The owner is not hospitable and I will be making a complaint to trading standards because all the bad reviews on here mention his horrible attitude. He cannot continue this way. He put me off my food but I couldnāt get up and leave as I was there for a family member who we had not seen for a while. Value for money = 0 Customer service = 0 Portion sizes = 0 Food quality = 2 Atmosphere = 0 Itās ZERO star for me but I have to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went on a Sunday and we were the only ones there until we were leaving but they got many online orders. There was one server who was nice. It was surprisingly expensive for such a small restaurant. I can only speak for what I ordered; I ordered falafels and humous and it was by far the worst humous I had ever tasted. Iāve been to many different Turkish restaurants and have bought a lot of humous from different supermarkets and I have never tasted humous this bad but they told me itās homemade. The Turkish bread was unevenly warmed with some bits being burnt and biscuit like and other parts being thick, cold and doughy. My mum liked her sea bass though and said it was seasoned well. She was however hoping for a fillet but got an entire fish. Even after I told them how bad my food was, they didnāt take a penny off. (It was Ā£15 for 6 falafels!)
TLDR: Avoid the falafels and humous + nice staff + mum liked...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBIGGEST SCAM. Donāt waste your time or money. I paid Ā£4.99 for a āToo Good To Go bag worth Ā£15ā. What did they give me? TUBS OF SALAD - Parsley & red cabbage to be precise. Thatās it. No bread, no rice, no meat, NOTHING. Just cold scraps in plastic containers.
This is NOT a surprise bag. This is daylight robbery. Donāt tell me āwhat did you expect for Ā£4.99?ā I expected FOOD. Itās advertised as Ā£15 VALUE. Do the maths, three tubs of salad = Ā£15. Itās FRAUD, plain and simple.
And the worst part, Imagine a homeless person scraping together their last Ā£5 thinking theyāll get a proper hot meal. This is what theyād get. COLD SALAD. Do you know how wicked that is? Absolutely disgusting behaviour.
This place is a disgrace. Ripping people off, disrespecting the whole point of Too Good To Go, and still having the nerve to act like theyāre giving value. They should be ashamed.
NEVER again....
