Now let me tell you about my recent experience at Lezzet Kitchen in Kingsbury — and it was nothing short of a complete turnaround.
I’d been here years ago and had such a bad experience that I swore I wouldn’t go back. But something told me to give it another try this Ramadan, and I’m glad I did — because what I found was a totally transformed restaurant with warm vibes, brilliant service, and delicious food. I genuinely think there’s been a change in management because everything about the experience felt brand new in the best way.
We called ahead to book for Iftar, and from the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The table was ready, the welcome was warm, and the staff were smiling — creating a calm and inviting atmosphere, which isn’t easy during Ramadan when things can get hectic.
The service was on point — attentive without being pushy, and just really considerate of the fact that we were fasting. Our food arrived just in time to break fast, with fresh dates already waiting on the table. Nothing felt rushed or last-minute. It was peaceful, organised, and actually allowed us to focus on the experience.
Big respect to Sister Iman — the lovely Algerian sister who looked after us. Her adab, warmth, and smile made us feel like guests, not just customers. And that’s a rare quality.
We ordered two mixed platters between eight of us, and the portions were more than generous — we couldn’t even finish it all. Had to pack up the leftovers! Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented.
To the team at Lezzet Kitchen: you’ve earned our respect. And to Sister Iman: thank you for your beautiful service. You’ve completely changed my view of this place — I’ll definitely be back.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly prepared Turkish and Mediterranean dishes draws you in. The interior is cozy, well-lit, and beautifully decorated, making it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The menu offers a rich variety of options – from traditional kebabs, lamb chops, and grilled chicken to freshly baked breads, creamy hummus, and mouthwatering baklava for dessert. I highly recommend their Iskender Kebab and Mix Grill Platter – both were tender, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The freshness of the ingredients really stands out, and everything was cooked to perfection.
Service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, polite, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. The manager even checked in with us personally to ensure everything was up to the mark.
Pricing is reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. Whether you're dining in or ordering takeout, Lezzet Kitchen maintains its standard.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning with friends and...
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered both a starter and a main course. While the starter was served on time, the main course took between 45 minutes to an hour to arrive. During the wait, we asked the waitresses several times to check on our food. Rather than verifying with the kitchen, they kept telling us it would be ready shortly, yet it still took an hour.
When the main course finally arrived, the rice and kebabs were completely cold and not fit to eat. We informed the staff that the food was cold and that the meat had an unpleasant smell. Instead of offering a fresh replacement or resolving the issue properly, they simply took back the family kebab platter and our plates, and we were left with nothing. We ended up leaving after only eating the starter.
This wasn’t our first bad experience either. On a previous visit, we asked for tea after our meal, and the waiter told us it would take 30 minutes to prepare—then asked if we were willing to wait that long for one small cup. Of course, we couldn’t.
Sadly, based on both visits, I cannot recommend this...
