Hot Spott — Restaurant in London

I recently tried 5 different dishes from this place, and overall it was a good experience—especially for the price. Here’s my honest breakdown: • Lamb Biryani – Quite nice, flavorful but could be a bit more robust. I’d give it 6.5/10. • Egg Fried Rice – Unfortunately, this was bland and lacked seasoning. Needs more flavour. 4/10. • Brain Curry – Decent, but the masala needed to be cooked a bit more. There was a slight aftertaste that could be improved. 6/10. • Fish Karahi – I was excited for this one, but it was a bit of a letdown. They used tilapia, which is fine, but the masala could have been more “buna-fied” (cooked down properly to intensify the flavour). 5/10. • Aloo Gosht – This was the star of the meal. Tender meat, well-balanced spices, and really enjoyable. 8/10.

For the price, you really can’t go wrong here. It’s good value for money, and I’d still highly recommend trying it out. Looking forward to giving them another visit and seeing how...

I had the following :

Peshwari naan - very sweet version. More of a dessert Naan.

Chicken curry - great they do half portions and good value for money but asked to make it spicy and not spicy at all and just a plain dish with what you associate with fast food. Much better in the local area unless you want just a half portion.

Chapli kabab - you can have half portion again which is good. But this was really not worth it as it was dry and there are so many better more authentic versions so I would avoid this

Will look to try other dishes and give more reviews in time.

All the food is amazing as you can choose your chilli level lol. I love the food but can't handle the spice so it's so nice that they have a mild option available. So far we have tried butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, fish karahi, chicken jalfrezi, tarka daal, chicken and lamb biryani, rice and naans.

Ordered a few times on Uber but it's actually cheaper to phone the restaurant directly and they home deliver too!

Ordered food for a party I was having and all the guests commented on how lovely the food was.

Will definitely be ordering from here again, may even dine...
