I would normally given a 5 star review, but after my recent visit to this specific Chaiiwala location (not the entire brand as I’ve been to both uk/canada locations which I’ve had great experiences) I’m really appalled.

I’m visiting my mates on my last night in London all the way from America, and we were aware it was getting close to closing time but rather than the staff member named Zuban or Zubair (can’t remember) started to blast Bollywood music super loudly to purposely think it would make us want to leave. Clearly he didn’t know us and we enjoy Bollywood music, but blasting it loudly was the issue and instead of being much more professional by just come to the table and giving a friendly warning of “hi we’re about to close in twenty minutes, is there anything else we can do for you before we close” they attempted to rush us out. Not only that but I saw at least 3-4 potential customers come in and were turned away because clearly the staff was ready to rush out exactly at the time the location closed at 12am.

We weren’t loud or being Obnoxious like a previous group of people were who took up a whole section. We’re just catching up in the corner. I find it appalling how your staff was behaving.

My mate then had gone up to Zubir/Zuban asking to get the manager details, which he refused to give and was very much being rude. I gave 2nd start only to be nice as I do like Chaiiwala as a brand but clearly I won’t be visiting this location.

Please as a request train the staff to be more professional and by just coming up to us NICELY - regardless of who ever we are, and not blasting music to kick a paying customer out! Especially when we know Chaii cafe are spaces for...
