Gayatri and Team,
I would like to tell you that I am a Foodie Lover. A great quality of food and taste drives me down to travel good 40mins to 1 hour.
I am a regular customer form years and never had chance to buy Fafda’s been served only on a Sundays. However, on a recent Sunday I got multiple packings of fafdas for my relatives and friend to celebrate good food and Gujju special Jalebi Fafda.
I was refused to buy Fafda more than a kg. The reason been “it will sold out faster”? I really don’t get why would anyone not sell food items while it is to sell upon paying full price! No where it’s mentioned on shop front or inside shop anywhere which 1 person limits to upto 1kg of Fafda! Upon request I got denied several times.
I am very busy person and I hold few business where we consider the customer time valuable and respect their demands either on placing early order for collection or by mentioning somewhere on BOLD about any restrictions to buy.
Another thing I could have brought my friend/relative with me to buy the required qty failure from your end lead in crack of regular custom. Another thing to mention, I had 35-40% of broken (small pcs) fafdas in packing which I didn’t appreciate it at all! Just to let you know, Ealing Road wembley is equal distance from my place I would not to choose your shop next time and no need to wait 50 mins too. Missing Kadi, wrong type of samosa packed, Broken Fafda and long wait not worth the while for next time ever on a Sunday!
Samosa, Daal Kachori and few Mithai are best in your shop and Service is BEST. I would say Placing Fafda in front counter will increase more sale than selling from back!
I am one of the Retailer having Multiple shops so either consider it room for improvement and/or keep it up with Demand otherwise the customers...
Read moreDear Gayatri Team - I have been loyal and very happy customer of yours for last several years. And i would agree with most of the reviews here - your service and food quality is best in the town.
However, since lockdown the waiting time has kept increasing especially on Sunday mornings ( from 30 minutes waiting time to an hour). This reminds me of 1990s where we had to do that as we didnt had choice.
I would like you to be considerate for your customer who travel 30-45 minutes to get to your shop and then have to wait again 45 minutes to get served on Sundays, every two weeks. I think, it is unreasonable to make your customer suffer and their family.
Given the advance technology we could make use of, can I please request you to offer collection services on Sunday Mornings - with upfront payment and no returns. Even if it means we have to order 12 hours in advance.
We miss your food and service as I dont have time luxury to wait 45 minutes on Sunday morning after driving for 30 minutes and have other things to shop.

Gayatri Sweet Mart, in Kingsbury, London, has been serving the community for over four decades.
My family and I were among its first clients.
I first met the Late Chairman and CEO, Mr. Ashwin Modha, who greeted me warmly, and we became friends immediately.
He was a remarkable man, innovative and friendly, who brought his colleagues from East Africa to London to establish this exceptional Indian Sweets outlet in London.
He maintained superb quality for over 40 years. Recently, I met his son, Mr. Vikunj & Mr. Mehul, and his nephew, Mr. Uday, who are all as warm and welcoming as their Father and Uncle.
On a recent visit, I was shocked to learn of his father's passing in December.
This sad news reminded me of the importance of staying in touch with friends.
I pray for his soul to rest in peace 🙏 and wish the management and staff continued success in upholding the founder's legacy. God bless 🙏©️ Ash-Cash...
