Lina Cafe — Restaurant in London

I took my partner especially to this cafe as I had fond memories of using when working in the area some years ago. We sat down, I asked to use the toilet, then ordered. We both wanted one item from the set menu changed as I'm not a fan of black pudding and my partner doesn't like hash browns. So we asked can these be substituted for mushrooms. The response was a blunt 'No this isn't possible'. My response was 'you have mushrooms on different set menus, so of course you can change items'. Again a blunt 'No'! So I said ok we'll find another cafe nearby and spend our £20 there. His response was you owe £2 for using the toilet. I laughed and obviously didn't pay the belligerent owner. We had a lovely breakfast elsewhere and we certainly won't be going in this...

Used too visit alot but found the cafe that it used too be is not what it was. The atmosphere is dead. Its like owner does not want customers as I've visited few times telling me his too busy and denied a nice omelette. Food is delicious but service is -10. No people skills. No warmth in the service. As a manager myself I know its tough but too turn down customers is something else.

I now go too munster Road where prices are fair and staff and owners are so kind. Run by a polish couple. They are my hero's. And they top you up if your still hungry. That's service and inspiration. You've lost me cafe lina. You denied me your service without...

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Prices are ridiculous, like they think they’re running a Michelin star restaurant, but the food is bang average at best. Refused to amend a set breakfast for no reason. Why? Isn’t it actually freshly cooked?

Paid £30 for 2 mediocre english breakfast and then got stung with an extra £7 just for 2 cans of soda and some beans. Absolute daylight robbery.

Customer service? Non-existent. Not a smile, not a bit of friendliness. The owner looked miserable to even have us there.

Do yourself a favour avoid this place and walk 10 minutes to Fulham Broadway here you’ll get better food, better service, and pay half...
