I recently visited this coffee shop in Camberwell and wanted to share my thoughts about the overall experience. It's important to note that while there were some aspects that could be improved, there were also positive elements that shouldn't be overshadowed.
Upon entering the coffee shop, I noticed that the staff members were friendly and welcoming. However, I couldn't help but notice that the manager at the till seemed a bit reserved, as he didn't offer a smile or greet customers as they approached. While this didn't significantly impact the quality of service, a friendly gesture from the manager would have added an extra touch of warmth to the overall experience.
Moving on to the food and drinks, I found that the prices were slightly on the higher side. Although the quality of the items served was satisfactory, the cost did not quite align with my expectations. While I understand the need for businesses to cover their expenses, it would be wonderful to see the coffee shop reevaluate their pricing structure to provide better value for customers.
Despite these minor areas of concern, I appreciated the overall ambiance of the coffee shop. The cozy interior and pleasant atmosphere created a comfortable environment for enjoying a cup of coffee or having a conversation with friends. The positive interactions with the staff, excluding the manager, added to the overall positive experience.
In conclusion, my visit to this coffee shop was a mixed bag. While the friendly and accommodating staff contributed to a positive atmosphere, the manager's lack of warmth and the slightly higher prices for the food and drinks left room for improvement. With a few adjustments, this coffee shop has the potential to become an even more inviting and value-driven destination for customers.

Read moreHad a dreadful experience at Love Walk today. I tend to try avoid leaving damning reviews of places when thing's are just a little chaotic but mine and my 5 friend's experience was so bad i feel it necessary.
It was fairly busy, we all ordered coffees and cooked breakfasts, the coffees came in around 10 minutes, which was fine, but we waited just over an hour for our breakfasts which was just unacceptable.
We received no explanation or apology during our wait, and our waiter actively avoided us when we tried to ask. When our food did come each of our pots of beans were piping hot, but our eggs, bacon, sausages etc were all cold.
We informed our waiter that we would like to just have a chat with the manager. Two members of our group went to the till to speak with him.
The manager accused us of lying that the breakfasts were cold. We had seen new customers come, eat and leave in the time we had been waiting for our food and aside from one member of our group who ordered the American breakfast, all the 5 english breakfasts were cold with exception of the beans.
Our waiter was vacant and avoided us, and besides not keeping us informed on our order, was generally polite. The manager however was really aggressive towards us, not at all apologetic, and completley unaccepting of our compliant over the food being cold. In the end the manager essentially told us to leave and not come back, we paid for all drinks and one breakfast and left.
I honestly think that as bad as the experience was, these things happen and the worst part of our time at Love Walk was how badly it...

This is my local café, it used to be a lovely personal place. I used to go all the time.
Now they expect you to pay for your food before you eat so you have to queue up at busy times before you’ve even relaxed.
Yesterday i took a friend for breakfast hoping things would be better on a quiet Monday morning.
I wanted to order two full English breakfasts but my friend wanted scrambled egg, rather than a fried egg.
I was told by the guy at the till (who didn’t stop multitasking to serve me), that he was not allowed to change the type of without charging me extra !!
This was at a time when the place was 3/4 empty. Have you ever ordered a full English breakfast and not had an option of how you had your eggs cooked? Seriously?
I like the staff. I like the food. I like the location. I don’t like being treated. like I’m in a fast food restaurant when I go to my local café for a relaxed Monday brunch.
When I told the member of staff that I was going to leave, he shrugged and wasn’t bothered.
Sorry guys. Not impressed at all.
Yes, you are packed with 20 somethings at weekends but anyone who is a little bit more discerning will be taking their custom...
