I’m incredibly disappointed with what happened during my recent visit to this restaurant. After checking online, we saw the closing time stated as 9:00pm, so we made the effort to travel all the way from far just so we could eat here. Imagine our shock and frustration when the staff told us they were closing and actually kicked us out at 8:20pm almost a whole hour before the advertised closing time! Completely Unacceptable Service We explained that the restaurant hours online clearly say 9:00pm, and, after such a long journey, all we wanted was a nice meal to end the day. Instead, we were rushed out, with absolutely no apology or understanding from the staff. If the restaurant actually closes at 8:20pm, then update the hours don’t mislead hungry customers who have made plans and travelled specifically for your food! Ruined Evening This should never happen. The lack of courtesy and care from the staff totally ruined our evening and wasted our time. We won’t be coming back and will certainly warn others to think twice before relying on what’s displayed online. Small restaurant serving Sri Lankan dishes. Had the chilli paneer which I really enjoyed. One issue was maybe too many Sweet peppers, not enough paneer. But flavours were good. I found the roti to be a bit too stiff. Not sure if that is how it should have been but could barely use it to pick up any sauce as it broke too easy leaving small bits. The devilled chicken was really good but again too much sweet peppers. The chicken situation sauce was very good but the two pieces of chicken presentation was odd, maybe that's the situation. My friend took the meat off the bone for sharing. But the sauce was really good. The flavors and sauces were excellent. Maybe just not enough, with too much sweet peppers as garnish and the roti was tough. Maybe I should have tried the rice. Had one Sri Lankan dessert which was nice. Oh one more thing...i was directed to the toilets on the first floor near the kitchen which was terrible and the door was facing the patrons of the restaurant.
