Eating at Made in Italy was a very enjoyable experience and the food was exceptional. I ordered a pasta pomodoro with burrata. The pasta had an excellent bite and an amazing texture, as I assume it was freshly made. The sauce was amazing and even better with the burrata on too creating an extra stringy texture. I added some parmesan cheese on top which added an extra pinging flavour in my mouth. This meal was very memorable and I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of it. My sister ordered this dish as well; both our plates were spotless after this meal. My mum ordered a gluten free pizza. The sauce and cheese was excellent, she said, however, the pizza base could be better as it needed to be a little puffier and chewier. But it was a very enjoyable pizza - there was a lot of sauce, the same as my pasta sauce, and a good amount proportionally to the cheese and base. My dad ordered the poletto marinato which was some Italian marinated chicken with roast potatoes. This was some of the best chicken I have ever had. The flavour was incredible and it was cooked really well. The texture was amazing, and the roast potatoes had an amazing crispy coating. This dish was exceptionally good. Overall, the atmosphere was wonderful in this place, very rustic. And the food was incredible: I would 100% recommend this restaurant.

Favorite Italian in London! First off I want to compliment the staff who were very friendly and accommodating, while seating us and giving us recommendations. Their outdoor terrace is lovely, they have outdoor heating and you will stay safe from the rain as it is completely covered but you can still have the nice view of a park opposite the restaurant. I think it’s a great spot for any type of dates as it isn’t too busy ans loud and you can have conversations comfortably. I loved their truffle burrata pizza, incredible taste and texture and my partner had the seafood pasta which looked absolutely delicious and very decent portions. I would not recommend the starter platter as it is a bit overpriced for the amount of food on it, still great taste. Something you should plan into your visit is some extra time as the staff do take their time but are very friendly when you call them. Thank you and will definitely come again!

We went for lunch today and we liked everything, we had a good time. I made the reservation by phone a few days before and they were very friendly, they gave me the table at the window as I had requested, it was my wife's birthday and there were three of us including our daughter. We took an appetizer to share and the very kind waitress who served us accommodated us for a small variation, then the pizza, very good, again we asked if they could be with tomato sauce since they were white pizzas. I repeat, the food was good, the waitress who served us was very kind, polite and good at offering good customer service and she was a little upset at the end because we didn't take a dessert to celebrate with a happy birthday song, but unfortunately my girls were a little tired and wanted to go out, finally the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately I have to add a negative comment, the bill was not excessive and I would have happily rounded up to leave an extra tip for the service, but I was shocked when I saw that on the bill there were 2 pounds more per pizza to add a bit of tomato sauce, honestly it's the first time I have seen this and I have been working in hospitality for more than half of my life, I would have understood and I know that you pay more if you add other ingredients but not for half a ladle of tomato sauce. Perderai in un bicchierino d'acqua. Those 4 pounds more should have been 5 for the service. I don't understand this policy anymore, it's not all just businesses, or yes for you, but in terms of customer care I was not happy, only for the ending. You probably don't care about me as a customer since I'm not a regular of yours even if I've eaten there several times in the past and if I don't come back you won't even notice. It doesn't take much for a customer to leave happy and...

Firstly I would like to start on a good note with the food. It was amazing - has to be some of the best pasta & pizza in London. However the service was abysmall. We were served by the head waiter (or manager?) who was extremely unfriendly. We waited nearly 25 min to order food when the restaurant was not even that busy. We ordered chips which never arrived. I never normally write reviews but this was honestly the worst service I have ever had. The head waiter didn’t bother to check on us at anytime and the only times we got any service was after standing up or calling multiple times as he walked past. The other more junior waiter was helpful and friendly. Whilst eating our mains, we found that there was a piece of plastic in the pizza. When we spoke to the head waiter, he didn’t respond just picked up the plate and took it away - no sorry, he just looked angry as if to blame the chef. It didn’t appear on our bill but no word was spoken about it! We also saw one of the other waiters trip over and drop a pizza. Other guests were very understanding but the head waiter was very angrily talking to him - which created a very uncomfortable atmosphere and at this point we paid and left. We were unsure if this was the manager or head waiter but it was so clear that without his presence, we would have had a really lovely experience. Such a shame that he ruined it (for us as customers and evidently for staff...
