I must say I am shocked that this place has as much as 2 stars on here. Where do you start. Placed order with just eat for over £40 of food including 10 items, the restaurant added 10 mins to delivery, bringing the total delivery time to just over an hour from time of order. No problem there. An hour and 15 mins after order was placed it had still not arrived. I then proceeded to call mayflower. No answer. Left it 5 mins and tried again. Busy, tried again in 5 mins again busy. Over the next 20 mins made over 15 calls to them and the phone either rang out or engaged. 1 hour and 45 mins after originally placing order I had had enough and got my motorcycle gear on and went down stairs to jump on my bike to pay them a visit. As I walk out a lady is walking up my stair with I tiny bag, the same size you would expect to get a meal in from mc Donalds. I ask if she is from Mayflower and she is. Happy days I thought. Where is the rest of the food ? I asked. She said this is it. £ 40 of food can't be in a bag that small with my receipt attached. Impossible I said and suddenly she doesn't understand what I'm saying. She tried to call the restaurant and guess what no answer. At this point I said I don't want the food take it back. I proceeded to order from another Chinese that arrived exactly on time and tasted great. Fast forward 4 hours after the order and u get a call from just eat asking if I would like to cancel my order. I voised my concerns and was basically ignored. funny how I get a call about that and now I can't write a review on just eat. Don't order from here as you WILL get ripped off. Read moreWish I could give this place 0. Such a shame considering we order from here on a regular basis. Started with an issue with an order via ‘Just Eat’ that we never received. Whilst calling to find out where the order was, we received a load of abuse to why it was our fault for not answering our phone to confirm the order. Baring in mind we had a confirmation email for the order itself, received no calls to which her argument was the phone went straight to voicemail. Again never received. Whilst arguing these points she contradicted herself time and time again. Even telling us just eat had a fake address even though they had tried to deliver and we hadn’t answered? Clearly they had made a mistake however, the way the dealt with it was completely unacceptable and not what anyone deserves. The girl on reception was extremely rude and racist. Whilst speaking perfectly good English to myself, I simply asked for an account of what had happened from their point to use as a complaint to ‘Just Eat’ - considering they claimed it was a fault on their behalf. To be told they’d send it in Chinese and I could use google translate. Usually really enjoy this places food and their service but clearly this one woman does not know how to work within public services, nor how to amend a mistake...

I have not once seen hands sanitised got a please and thank you and while being told wait 1min 5 mins later order taken. Tonight the night of 4/1/21 the gentleman working was so obnoxious and unwelcoming I really to feel to cancel my order but I've already paid. Usually a great place warm friendly and good food little pricey but hey good customer service and food warrants this. Order was wrong and missing items once home I realised what a joke. Dont be in food services. if you cant handle the heat get out the kitchen or in this case dont be front of house.
