Flamino — Restaurant in London

This place is bad, I mean really bad poor quality food. It is not even worth it after a night out drinking as no amount of alcohol can fool you into thinking it is acceptable food to eat.

I know because one night on return from an evening at Troubadour, we stopped by and my husband ordered some fake burrito-- more like a kebab. He was immediately regretful. The ingredients were low grade. The meat looks like it wasn't real meat and well there was grease everywhere. Perhaps for most this would sound delicious, but it's just really bad fast food. Next in line after McDonalds.

Also, now they are trying to pass of as a Mexican joint called "La Salsa". There is nothing Mexican about the food. It is run by an Indian or Pakistani. I have no problem with Indians or Pakistani and I think there food is GREAT when done properly and with good quality ingredients. I do have a problem when you don't know anything about Mexican food and claim to sell burritos and tacos online. This makes you a fraud.

Surprisingly good!

I just recently started my temporary stay in this area and I have been visiting all the food places along this street. Tonight I tried the one place that I just knew was going to disappoint. IT DID NOT! First the service - friendly and engaging. I went in with the thought of one thing and based on the recommendation from the host/chef. Second the food - I ended up with an extremely tasty, juicy and flavorful burger and some very tasty truffle parm fries.

I was not sad about this visit at all. If anything I’m sad I didn’t give them a chance sooner. If you’re in the area and get a chance to swing by please give this place a try. I’ll definitely go back and try a burrito next time. Or the shrimp tacos.

Oh and it was definitely worth the money. That burger was huge! And I ate it too fast...

I am extremely picky with my food and where I eat. I have lived in London for 8 years and been to many restaurants here and this place is on top of my list of always wanting to go back to. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is amazing especially the ‘Double Trouble’ burger and the homemade sauces. Although, I warn you that the suicidal chilli sauce is very hot!

Pros: - Great Taste - Great presentation -Excellent customer service - Close distance to tube station -Very calm relaxing environment - Vegan and Vegetarian options available

Cons: - Hard to think of any but they could possibly add Vegetarian logos to their menus
