Do NOT use this McDonalds. Take it from someone who has been eating McDonalds for the past month! Ive been in there 3 or 4 times this month and every single time the experience was awful. It is a disgrace to the restaurant chain and also a disgrace to what this McDonalds was 10 years ago. It’s RARELY ever packed in there baring in mind its in the middle of a shopping center, outside a cinema and below a Golf place. I always visit between 6-11pm. There’s 3 ladies who are always in there working, all 3 are slow, lazy-looking and miserable. I was in there watching another lady swap a burger around 3 different bags before finally putting it back into the original bag with some fries and then giving it to a customer - about 5 minutes of waste/food going cold because someone has no idea how to read a screen. There’s no sense of professionalism and they act as if you’re lower than them. Ask them for some sauce and they hand it to you facing away from you, you wait in line as the only customer and all 3 of them will continue cleaning/gossiping/standing in the same spot together wasting time. This McDonalds is a massive joke now, use the one by Taco Bell instead it feels much more like a proper McDonalds, fast paced with a manager always visible...
Read moreI'm delighted I've been asked to review macdonalds. Goodness they've dropped the standards haven't they? When they 1st hit the UK high street, 40 years ago, their service was amazing (except bizarrely their Manchester branch which was clearly managed by a moron), but these days, you're hard pushed to find a macdonalds that can get you your order at any speed. This branch in Harrow is OK, largely helped by excellent and clever staff clearing and cleaning tables, but their electronic order system never has tickets and their kitchen can't keep up with the amount of customers, which never seems excessive but always seems to take the management by surprise. Am I allowed to review the Waterloo branch here too? I think they train their staff to be rude and they really don't have their act together, frequently out of standard and popular menu items. I put it down to bad, very bad management. Go to any of the other chains or even the small businesses in Waterloo Station and they are in a different class. Shame on you macdonalds - what went wrong? Read moreVery very rude staff , they don’t know what they’re doing .. my order was 23 and my friend’s order was 22. They shouted for my order no. 23 and never shouted for order no 22 and we waited 20 minutes for that and then when we went to ask they’re saying someone already picked up and so on and then they asking my friend to show them the receipt and they had to see it 3 times so the point is why they can’t ask to customer before giving someone our order.? Or they haven’t made at all and made mistake and covering it up by telling a lie? Server was Sunil , i hope he’s getting disciplinary for his behaviour and he don’t even know what is he doing at all and if you wanna be rude Sunil go to your house be rude with your family and friends, you’re just a server no one gave you any rights to talk to people like that .. he’s been talking to all the guest the same way whoever comes with complaints.. so first start to learn your job and i think staff needs training there and more humble people, whose willing to work for hospitality and not just for money.
