Fast, friendly, amazing, personable service every single time. Their positive attitude makes me not only recommend to friends, family, buy takeaways for my house but also look forward to visiting Tortilla Harrow. The St George's Shopping centre is a fun place to visit because they will always be ready to say hi and pack delicious fresh Tortilla food. Their customer service could not be better.
Additionally, all of their staff are warm, caring, kind people who are always happy to serve, no matter how many last minute Deliveroo and UberEats orders rush in towards the end of the day. Even when faced with rude, unpleasant and demandingly difficult customers, as seen today, they are still sincere, sweet, respectful, professional and unfazed (this happened to Aixa in April, when a lady was very unfairly disrespectful to her after she was served her food exactly as she wanted). The whole team are great: knowledgeable, helpful, able to adjust for any and all dietary, food and taste preferences. Aixa, Chiara, Fran, with Denisa, Yannika and Rana leading and jumping in at every chance to support their staff.
The Tortilla brand has long been known as a reliable supplier of healthy, fresh, fast food inspired by the California-Baja Mexico area. There are an numerous options: burritos (in flour tortillas or naked in boxes), tacos and quesadillas with luxurious extras (avocado, chorizo) and superb vegetarian plant based alternatives ( mixed peppers, tempeh chilli non carne), plus the options for more of anything with cheese sauce and guacamole for 50p and 80p more each, respectively.
Everything is kept clean, fresh and spaced out safely and securely even with strict pandemic lockdown rules. It will be a pleasure to dine in once rules can safely relax, because when the brand is reliable and the customer service professionals are this good, every visit to Tortilla Harrow is a genuine pleasure. St George's shopper is lucky to have Tortilla in such a prime location below the Vue Cinema and under the dome. Fresh fast food just isn't any better then this place.

Read moreUnprofessional, rude staff. Denise in particular. I would not come back after her attitude. Food is OK but often find brown Lettuce. They need to refresh their stock more often . Staff use their gloves to wrap a meat burrito and ensure the meat is well tucked in and then use the SAME glove to sprinkle cheese on my vegetarian burrito? No respect for customers or their views. And a major food hygiene and safety issue. There were 3 staff working on the counter. 2 of them including Denise were prioritising online orders when there was a large queue of customers at the stand. We were made to wait to make payment for a while whilst our burrito sat getting soggy. Overall poor experience and I would not reccomend unless you are keen on food contamination and dissapointing...
Read moreThis place used to be good. Very good in fact. Unfortunately it isn't anymore. Portion sizes have shrunk massively, to the point I asked the server to show me the difference in rice between large and regular - regular was a 3/4 scoop ,and large was a full one. They have some communication issues between each other and with customers too - they sort of quietly whisper whatever they're saying to you. I ordered a naked burrito bowl with beef. The bowl was only about half full, and the beef was cold and chewy. The guac looked old and so I passed on it. I would normally have just given the food back and walked off, but it was my lunch break and I was hungry. The seating area itself is the same as always and clean and...
