McDonald's — Restaurant in London

*This is an update to my old review, which I have edited and removed. * If you're interested in reading my update review. Here's my newest 2024 review: The Stratford Mcdonald is a combination of a hit or miss marks based on the timeslots, and weekdays included weekends and consumers and employees. They're OK, but they need to put more inked in some of their self-service since it missed or blurred the full description of the receipt and order number. Some of their employees are professional and good at handling under pressure and problem solved with unhappy paid customers with an alternative option or refund with the meal included scenario with missd food items which I can related myself sometime and I'm happy with the result. Plus, it's sorted common the manager would be present in this restaurant sometime. Some of them need practice with customers and fix the self-service machine. My recommendation (if you wanted to give a tryout) is to come around 9 something am, 10 am or 11 am (morning) before 12 pm (lunch). If you want a slightly quiet atmosphere and fewer noisy customers, then the ones around 2 pm, 3pm and 4 pm if you're looking fit morning or quickly lunch if you're visitor, employee included agency workers or neither college or Uni students in the area. And I'm not sure if Metro (UK Newspaper) is continuing with the McDonald's Vouncher in their newspaper or added new features after 2020, and yes, those vounchers do feature salads and there's alternative option for Non Meats customers such as the Mcplants brands and few others in this restaurant like other Mcdonald around Stratford like Westfield...

Just left the drive through. Only 1 car in front who had to wait ages to be acknowledged.

When we went to order the McRib we were told it’s sold out.

Then the lady told us to wait in a tone which suggested she was going to check.

Ages later she came back and whispered to us to go to the next window. We asked her to confirm what we’ve ordered and she said don’t worry come next window.

Next window we met her face to face. She wore a hijab.

She took her headset off and whispered “what’s your order?”

Like what?! We explained we wanted the McRib and that she told us it was sold out and we didn’t get to order an alternative. She again repeated that it was sold out, when we clearly knew.

Finally we ordered our alternatives. She gave us 3 Selects instead of 5 which we paid for but the receipt said 3 even. She gave Coke instead of Lemonade, and Sweet n Sour instead of Sweet Curry sauce.

We had driven off when we realised and they didn’t answer the phone when we called numerous times so had to go back again whilst being on work lunch break.

Seriously, companies need to re-evaluate their staff who are customer facing. Language barrier (she barely spoke English) and those who can’t correct their errors or double-check, should NOT work such roles, and if they do, an emphasis on...

My husband ordered two cheese burgers and two chicken mayo's and fries and asked for extra pickle and onion and extra mayo as the burgers are usually really dry, he waited for around 10 to 15mins asuming they making a fresh burger with the extras. He just done a 10hours shift and finished around 2am, I can understand it is late but it wouldnt be open this late if the job couldnt be done. Anyways he came home to have the burgers with me it had the lables with the extra's on it. Ok good sign right ? No we opened the burgers up and it was dry no extras 1 pickle even doe we asked for extra the cheese burger barely even had onions little bit if ketchap, the chicken mayo lets just say it should be called dry chicken in a bun with lots of leaf not even lettuce and the mayo ? Please where must have had run out even doe again we ask for extra. He even paid extra so no excuse the fries was good, its just a bit disappointing to just expect something even fauls lable come on and then get the sahara dessert dry burger.

Everytime its dry, so this time we fought we ask for extra sauce and everything to get a decent burger but hey no plan back fired, u want real McDonalds go in and not through the drive through and check your food before...
