I like that the restaurant has been expanded and that they have touchscreens for placing orders so I can see what is available and what isn't available at a glance and staff are less likely to get my orders wrong; however I have had some issues with staff and other customers. On my visit involving issues with customers there was one who was sitting at a table without having ordered any food but one staff member appeared to approach her and ask if she was going to order anything while there was a group of youths sitting at another table eating food from outside, which made me feel uncomfortable. On my visit involving staff one put my order in a takeaway bag instead of on a tray despite having chosen the eat in option on a touchscreen and I found her quite difficult to understand when she asked me if I needed a cup holder (I eventually understood her when she held one up) but I said no and proceeded with eating in. While I looked for somewhere to sit I saw another staff member sitting at a small table and talking on her phone. I thought this made her look rather unprofessional and I thought that a customer might have wanted that table. Overall good food and touchscreen ordering system but mixed feelings about the staff...
Read moreIve noticed people have had this issue in previous reviews and it doesn't look like anyone at McDonald's cares, but I'll write it anyway. All seating is regularly occupied by delivery drivers. No other restaurant allows this so why does McDonald's? I asked to speak to a manager regarding this and a cashier walked a few steps and came back saying I'm the manager? I think his name was aman or something(I may have gotten that wrong) but he didn't seem to be a manager, but I'm not going to call him a liar.... he said 'we can't ask them to leave because they're working' I responded 'well it seems then you care more about them than customers because I regularly don't come in for this reason alone'. I think he then realised that this was not an ok to say them back tracked saying well if you need a seat come to the counter and we'll ask them to leave. I'm sorry but that's ot my job; just keep the seating just for paying...
Read moreJust popped into this store, my local (43 years local) I didn't fancy much, just a double cheese burger and chips I also needed to use the toilet! Unfortunately I encountered a staff member called Christina who advised that I needed to be a customer before I could use the public toilet, I get that! But where was I supposed to put my food when I used the toilet? On the floor?, resting on the dirty sink area perhaps? Or I suppose I could have left it unattended on a table? Christina maybe ok with this method of food hygiene, but I'm not. Makes me wonder about her skills regarding food hygiene. Needless to say I didn't get my cheeseburger and I didn't use the toilet. Thanks Christina ! Let's hope McDonalds doesn't award this member of staff with a big shiny star for customer service or for matters...
