One of the best restaurants in Dulwich, the food and service is up there with the best. Staff will provide any specific requests on selection if you are stuck. They also have buffets on sundays if you want to try abit everything but weekedays you can choose specific currys which i prefer. The lamb bhuna and prawn curry you can't get enough of the perfect amount of heat and spice, i wanted it extra spicey and green chillies on the side which they happily provided. Will highley recommend to go and try it, you wont be disappointed will be going back soon. Thank you Meemsab for your service

Food was really good, we had onion bhaji, chana masala, sag aloo, pilau rice, chicken tandoori and the star of the meal - lamb tawa masala, lamb cooked with onions, spices in a reduced sauce, with a beautiful heat from ginger and fresh chilli. Service is fabulous, restaurant was very busy when we arrived, they invited us to sit at the bar with poppadoms. Food took a little while to come, but the staff made sure they were looking after us. Well done and keep up the good work. Thank you

The 4 star is for the service the staff provided right from the start till the end - it was flawless. There wasn't a time when you felt left out in the crowd, which is quite rare to be honest. They were super attentive and cared to make your time at their restaurant relaxing and enjoyable. The food was good but there is room for improvement. All in all it was good experience.

DISTRESSINGLY RUDE STAFF. MEDIOCRE FOOD - NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. I have never experienced such rude staff before in my life. Soon after I asked for a second glass of wine, and relaxed with it to finish off the meal I was eating in the company of my husband and a friend (and only approx. 45 min after we started the meal), a waiter came and tried to get us to pay and leave. I explained that we were not ready yet. This scene repeated 3 times, with 3 different waiters and an increasing degree of insistence - but worse of all was their alarming familiarity. They all thought it was OK to keep patting me - in a supposedly "friendly", but in fact breathtakingly patronising and rude! - manner on my arm. May I add that I am a woman well past her retirement age and do not expect to be handled by strangers in any context, and especially not when I pay to for a relaxing time out. We had been there twice before - but never again.

The manager came in the end to explain that they had a booking waiting. Well, this is their own mismanagement, surely? And if they knew that they were squeezing us in before an imminent booking, the normal way restaurants deal with this situation is to say "But we have a booking for such and such time, will you be able to finish by then?" So the problem was caused by their greed to maximise booking to a fast-food joint style, and total lack of understanding what eating out means to the customers. I had already thought they were crassly overfamiliar on a previous occasion, but the totally repellent physical contact was a first.

The oversweet, greasy food and tepid rice really did not merit having to suffer this appalling lack of most rudimentary manners. Avoid...

My husband and l dined at this restaurant about 2 months ago. It was our first time there, the service was very good, the food also very good too. As we had a pleasant experience, I decided to book this restaurant for a friends birthday celebration, our party was 16 in total.

On this occasion it was very disappointing. First of all, when I made our booking, l expected that we would be seated together but they split our party, so 4 members of the party were seated across on the other side of the restaurant. We were placed right next to the kitchen door which would be in constant use by the waiters however this is so inconvenient for the customer because we all had bouts of coughing due to the smoke coming from the kitchen, as they were going back and forth with plates of food and as we were so close, it was as if the plates would fall on you, too close for comfort.

When the food arrived, it was chaotic! They were bringing out duplicates of orders, we ended up with food that we did not even order! The majority of the waiters were not attentive and made you feel as if you were inconveniencing them whenever you needed their assistance. Unfortunately my food tasted mediocre, a far cry from my first experience. I was so disappointed in the service, the food and the whole experience overall. I will be returning to this restaurant and do not plan on recommending it either. From what l can conclude from my two experiences, the do much better with small parties but not good at all when it comes to...

Customer Service lacking if you are black I order a glass of white wine. I looked over to see red was being poured, I reminded the server of the original request. As the request was being rectified a group of caucasian people were coming into the restaurant. The sever left my request (empty glass), Rushing to greet the caucasian patrons, (may I add he was not working alone behind the bar area at this time). I looked up in time to note his actions which he realized I had seen..He tried to adjust his actions by half turning I way as I commented on his actions. I did eventually get my glass of white wine and dinner also came after a long wait. My starving sister had addressed her starvation by eating copious amount of onion salad with popadoms with mango chutney.lol.

This restaurant is quite trendy and contemporary looking but it definitely is not about diversity sadly.

On that bases you have call a spade a space these establishment are happy to take black peoples money whilst and paradoxically show us disdain, lack of respect coupled with blatant prejudice. Which is not acceptable. We are duty-bound to flag these situations up as they occur.

I'll go to the 'curry cabin' next time which has been there in Dulwich for a few decades now and see if they remain accommodating as their elders were. What this space don't spend your money to he disrespected or treated as a lower cast. In...
