A truly exceptional experience at Mezzaluna!

I don’t tend to write many reviews, but when a place truly exceeds expectations, it deserves to be recognised and Mezzaluna absolutely did.

We chose this beautiful restaurant to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, striking the perfect balance between sophistication and warmth. Stunning table adorned with fresh roses—such a thoughtful touch that added to the elegant ambience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like valued guests right from the start.

The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, every detail handled with precision and care. From expert menu recommendations to the perfect timing of each course, it was clear that the team takes great pride in delivering an outstanding dining experience.

And then, the food—absolutely exceptional! I had the Nodino di Vitello al Burro e Rosmarino, a beautifully cooked veal loin chop, bathed in a rich butter, rosemary, and white wine sauce. Every bite was pure perfection, and the depth of flavor was simply unforgettable. Every dish we tried was a testament to the chef’s skill, both in presentation and taste.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making this night so special, but a huge shoutout to Fabio, who was truly the star of the evening! His warmth, attention to detail, and exceptional service made our celebration even more memorable.

This was our first time at Mezza Luna. In true Italian fashion, we had bigoli (please try them!), steak, home made bread, and roasted potatoes with drinks. I am very picky as in Italian in London going to Italian restaurants, and Mezza Luna was just delightful. The vibe, the ambience, the staff (shouts to Andrea the legend from Sicily) were immaculate. We came to celebrate my late mother’s birthday, a special occasion that is very very dear to me, and I felt just at home! I can’t believe I found a restaurant that cooks some of my favourite regional Italian dishes, when I normally have to take a flight and a couple of trains to even contemplate eating them.
