I ordered the Buff Ting chicken burger with seasoned fries at Box Park Croydon.
Looked great but when I bit into it it was totally frozen in the middle. Made me feel sick and I totally lost my appetite.
I returned the whole meal to the very apologetic server. He clocked dinner buttons on his till in front of me and showed me that he had refunded my meal.
Checking my account 2 days later there was no refund and the payment had left my account.
I emailed Nanny Bills customer service who politely said "Apologies again, that has now been refunded in full."
Checking my account, they've refunded me for the FROZEN chicken burger but not the fries. When questioned they say "Unfortunately that’s not our policy, i’ve refunded the product which was unacceptable and as a gesture of goodwill given you a discount on any future purchases."
How is that OK? I have been super polite to an establishment that served me a FROZEN chicken burger and you charge me for the chips that are sitting underneath the FROZEN chicken burger?
To top it off Nanny Bills thinks that I'm going to return to the place that served me a FROZEN chicken burger to use my 20% discount voucher. Keep it.
Having worked in a kitchen, how can you be taking chicken burgers out of a freezer and cooking then in a fryer without thawing them first? It doesn't work!

However the burgers lacked flavour here, the gravy the gave us for our burgers was also cold. I wouldn’t of minded paying £15-18 per meal but this was trash and a waste of money. Wayyyy overpriced for what you’re providing. Service wasn’t good either considering the prices you’re charging. No smile, ignored initially etc. disappointed.

Read moreWe started off loving Nanny Bills via Uber Eats. The burgers were, and still are great but we have started cooling towards them due to customer service. The last 4 or 5 orders have had items missing or wrong. Our order last week was inexplicably cancelled by the Uber Eats delivery person after waiting 40 minutes. I didn't even know that the Uber Eats drivers can stop the restaurant from preparing our order, or at least that is is what I was told by a Nanny Bill's staff member when I called.
