Neighbours Food Bar — Restaurant in London

I’m a long term customer of the Neighbourhood Chinese Takeaway on Hornsey road for over 10 years. Since back in the days when nice Chinese lady used cook fine fried chicken. I’ve noticed the quality of the food had dipped since the change of management. But I continue to patronage the place for posterity and to help our local neighbor business prosper in these difficult times.

Sadly the costumer service has deteriorated to the point whereby it’s not worth the bother. The cashier was so rude over the phone, I was aggravated enough to take a walk to the shop to make him aware of how rude almost to point of racist he was over the phone. Simply because they couldn’t deliver a £20 order on Saturday 13th of February 2021 It was obvious he would never address me in that manner if I where to be a white customer. I was born and bread in London. I know racism when I see it and you don’t have to be white to be racist. One of the delivery staff tried to be apologetic and assured me he will talk to him and try to make thing better next time around. But the cashier was too obnoxious to see that he was in the wrong. my beef and black bean sauce. It tasted of ,The meat was off. I nearly vomit because when I bite in I could really taste smell, the meat was bad. The rice was off, it wasn’t fresh. It’s like t they put a leftover rice ,noodles were tasteless. Something is genuinely wrong with you people. I ordered on uber eats and added in the notes section an extra topping. I called to confirm with your restaurant it would be added. The person on the phone then telling me you don’t need to call giving an attitude. Now when my food arrives…. Where’s the extra topping????? Really hit and miss with these guys once i found hair in my food, guess it depends but sometimes the food is nice.

Edit: I did leave a note on the online order but you still didn’t add the topping that’s why i have made this whole review ?? Also if you prioritise people who order directly from your restaurant then you might as well stop selling on uber eats, you should treat all your customers equally because at the end of the day they are the ones eating your food, if you keep them satisfied they will come back and might even refer you to other people, treat them all fairly otherwise you will lose customers for...
