Rarely does a restaurant do everything so well. This is as close to perfection as you can get. For those seeking an experience akin to the former glory of Yauatcha, this is it, and more!!!
Atmosphere: The ambiance is breathtaking, with thoughtful furnishings and layout creating an almost private dining experience. The strategic placement of tables and decor achieves a speakeasy vibe, where diners can enjoy conversation and the background music without it being overwhelmed by chatter. Every detail, from the quality of tableware and seating to the exquisite decor and restroom facilities, reflects the highest standard. Very impressed.
Service: Michael, was outstanding, offering insightful menu recommendations and maintaining attentive service throughout our meal. The entire staff mirrored this excellence, ensuring a memorable experience from arrival to departure.
Drinks: The cocktail menu is a testament to innovation and thoughtfulness, featuring unique choices that intrigue the palate. Even the ice cubes enhance the presentation of each drink.
Food: Describing the culinary excellence here is a challenge. Clearly, only the finest ingredients are used but they are crafted masterfully in dishes that take diners on a flavorful journey. The chef's extraordinary talent is evident in every bite. This is a dining experience you must try. Especially the signature dishes.
My only regret is not capturing our dinner in photos. However, it's a perfect excuse for a return visit!

Read moreWe went there for dinner last night. Overall we were deeply impressed by the service, atmosphere and the wine list, but the food we ordered was below our expectation.
Once entering the restaurant, we were attracted by the beautiful marble balls hanging from the ceiling. The receptionist and waiters were super kind and friendly. The seats were specially designed. We could feel the owner of the restaurant had carefully thought about it.
We ordered Xiao Long Bao, foie gras prawn toast and a whole Peking roast duck. As a person raised in Shanghai, I would say Xiao Long Bao was awesome. However, foie gras smelled a bit too strong, compared to other foie gras we had tasted in Michelin restaurants. The roast duck was also below our expectation too. The duck was a bit too fatty, and it was not cut thin enough. It was not as good as the roast duck we had in Minjiang.
But having said that, we were quite happy with the wine list. The wine was sort of classic and matched what we had thought about it before tasting it. Whatever Stellenbosch Merlot or late harvest Gewurztraminer from Alsace, they did meet the requirement for what they were supposed to be. We had a few happy chat with the sommelier, who was very professional. We also appreciated his small treat of a blind tasting of a Burgundy Chardonnay (we knew it must be it once we smelled it, as it was so typical!)
We would probably come back to taste dim sum or other Chinese food, of...
Read moreI dined at Noble Palace twice on a visit to London. Both times the experience was outstanding. The service is gracious and restrained. They make the single diner feel very welcome.
The first night I had the wonton soup, The wonton soup presentation was a work of art. It tasted as good as it looked. The pork was cooked to perfection. I had the Sichuan Corn-Fed Chicken with Basil Leaf for my main course. Once again the presentation was outstanding. The chicken was moist and tender and the heat level was perfect. For dessert, I had the cheesecake which was rich and light.
They remembered me on my next visit. I had the hot and sour soup, the sweet and sour chicken, and the purple sweet potato buns for dessert. The soup was spicy, but the heat did not overpower the flavor. The chicken dish was light without the typical gummy sauce. The dessert was delicious. The buns were light and the fillings interesting.
I had wine with both meals. One was £8 and the other £14 but both were excellent.
The decor is stunning and fun. There were other single diners and several couples. All seemed to be having a great time. I strongly recommend Noble Palace. It is worthy of multiple visits and I intend to return the next time I...
