Came for a drink outdoors and enjoy the decent weather. They have plenty of tables outdoors where they provide table service. Plenty of staff in taking orders and keeping the terrace clean and looked after. It took around 20 minutes however for me to get my drinks.. twice.. the staff I spoke to was really nice though and offered us a complimentary pint upon realise the issue. All staff was really friendly and laid back which is what I like to see when visiting a place as it allows me to get in the same mood. They offer quite a few cocktails, wines but only 2 draft beers (peroni or asahi). Prices are average for London. Place turns into a live music venue after 9pm on Fridays. You need to be in before 9 to get a free stamp, otherwise it will be 5£ entry fee. Good spot for some fun with friends singing tunes and having a few drinks. In terms of food they offer pizzas while you can also order from Patty & Bun (burgers) next door if seating in the terrace. Security was rude and dry as you would expect. Really not helping the vibe to be honest.

I will definitely be coming back to this place! The atmosphere and venue are fantastic, with a great vibe that makes it perfect for watching live sports or just enjoying a night out. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I watched the Wales vs. Ireland rugby match here during the Six Nations and had an amazing time. The energy in the room was electric, and the big screens ensured a great view from anywhere. Plus, the £5 pints from the first to the last whistle of the match were an absolute steal such a great deal! Beyond the rugby, I also tried their house cocktails, which were well-crafted and delicious. Their pizzas were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect match for a few drinks. Whether you're here for the sports, the drinks, or just a lively night out, @northcoterecords is definitely worth a visit. Can’t wait to return!

Went to Northcote Records in Clapham and honestly, the place exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is absolutely electric – perfect mix of chilled vibes and high energy. The live music was on point, with a great crowd that just knew how to have a good time without it ever feeling too chaotic. Drinks were well-made, reasonably priced for London, and the service was super friendly and quick. The interior has a cool, rustic charm with just the right lighting for a weekend hangout. Loved the playlist between the live sets – pure bangers! Whether you’re with friends or flying solo, it’s the kind of spot where you can really enjoy the night. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend if you’re in or around Clapham!

Music wasn’t good but that’s not really my complaint as it’s a crab shoot with these kind of places.

It was my first time here and I was looking for the bathroom. I opened a door but it led out to the street. Quickly realised my mistake and tried to shut the door but a bouncer grabbed it and yelled at me to “get out and come outside”. I asked why and told him why I’d opened that door. He’d seen the whole thing so knew I came from inside and wasn’t trying to sneak my way into the bar. He then tried to pull me out the door and I stood my ground. Another bouncer came over and pushed me forcefully but I refused to move and asked what they were doing. To which the first bouncer said “you know what you were doing” - to which I still don’t know what he was referring to. They asked to see my stamp. Which I showed them. But that didn’t seem to matter as the both of them pushed and dragged me outside. I don’t know what I’d done.. I then walked 10 metres back to the front door, showed the guy at the front my stamp and he let me back in.. it just seemed so pointless and confusing. I was shaking as I’d just been assaulted and obviously very unhappy with the situation. Ruined a night where I just wanted to go dancing with my girlfriend. She was very unnerved by the situation. Disgraceful really… won’t be coming back and will tell everyone...

Most exclusive bar in London at 6.30pm. Arrived and tried to walk in and the doorman sidestepped to block my entrance. He asked if I had a booking, I said no, my friends are already in there. Bizarrely asked me my name even though I told him I/we didn't have a booking. I asked him if he wanted my name or the booking name. I told him my name and told him we didn't have a booking. I then had to get my phone out and show him on find my friends that my friends were already in there. When I arrived at my friends' table, I told them about my experience with the doorman. They also told me that they had had a poor experience and that he had searched a female's bag which she had told him was an overnight bag including underwear and that he had also asked her to open a sealed bottle of Evian to check the contents. I ordered a drink at the bar and told the barman of our experience with the doorman and that the doorman was unfriendly and rude. The barman told me the doorman was agency, I told the barman he should consider my feedback a complaint and to pass it to the person in charge. Sat down and had a drink, no one came to speak to me, had one drink and left. On leaving, the doorman was challenging another individual who was trying to enter who was on the phone to his friends to come to the door so that he...
