I truly like the authentic ice cream here. I really enjoy the flavor and the taste — it’s some of the best I've had. However, I need to mention a concerning experience.
Last summer, I found a hair in my ice cream. I didn’t make a big deal out of it at the time, thinking it was just an unfortunate one-off. However, a couple of weeks ago, it happened again. Finding a hair in the ice cream once could be seen as bad luck, but twice is too much and raises serious hygiene concerns.
I didn’t say anything in the moment because I was with other people, and I didn’t want to ruin their experience or make them feel uncomfortable. Still, it’s quite a disgusting thing to find in your food, and definitely something that needs attention.
I'm not sure whether the hair ended up in the ice cream during production or while serving. Either way, I think it’s crucial to improve hygiene practices. I would suggest that staff wear gloves and properly cover their hair. There’s a man who has been working there for a while who has a beard — unfortunately, beard hair can fall too, so it would be a good idea for him to cover it. There's also a young woman with long hair that's not always properly tied back.
Additionally, I would recommend regularly removing the lid of each container to check for cleanliness before serving, as contamination could happen while the ice cream sits.
As I said, I've been a loyal customer for a long time, and these were the only two incidents. But this should not happen at all. I really hope you review your entire process — from production to transportation to serving — because hygiene and customer safety must be a...

Top quality ice cream, no fake double cream taste, only fresh ingredients and freshly made in the laboratory behind the counter! Try their pistachio (made with Sicilian Pistacchio di Bronte) or one of their fruit sorbets (that’s how ice creams with no milk are called), they taste unreal! Friendly staff and normal prices. Kudos for their clean space and also for being COVID-safe. There is a one-way system in place, the staff wear masks but they sure smile with their eyes and are happy to explain how their gelato is made! Avoid fake ice creams and pop in this Italian gelato heaven ❤️ (I checked the spelling of everything, no mistake spotted as opposed to fake Italian places in London) ;)...
