i read some of the reviews before eating at this place because i really wanted to try it. lot of mixed reviews with some saying they really enjoyed the food and multiple others saying they got food poisoning. i decided to give it a try earlier tonight because you never know until you try. so anyway the food was average. very overly saucy and by the looks of it isnt prepared authentically. i saw them dropping what looked like pre cooked chicken chunks into containers of random sauces which isnt how its usually prepared. alot of the cooks were not wearing face masks either which was a cause for concern. the whole work Station was quite unorganised and frantic and you could tell its not as it should be. but that didnt deter me much. the food tasted okay i enjoyed it. nothing id have again. a few hours after consumption my friend (who also ate from this place) started feeling a little sick and had stomach pains. i however was perfectly fine. funnily enough as his sickness faded off i began to feel very clamy and sick and wanted to throw up. and as expected i threw up a good bit of the food as it was making me feel weak and sick. very disappointed by pretty much all factors of this institution. the preparation. the quality of food. and the sickness it left upon me. obviously based on other reviews it seems to be varied. but i would not reccomend as there are much better restaurants who serve the style of food that they do. wont be eating from here again and i advise you dont either. on a more positive note. the interior design for the building is quite nice and modern. so if you're into that check it out. but id suggest you bring...

If I was rating on service alone... I’d give OODLES in ilford lane 4 stars. Considering it was their first day opening I do think they handled the queues system quite well. The ordering system was questionable, you are allowed to order up to 2 bases (vegetable noodles, egg or vegetable rice, spicy chips or plain chips), you then choose between 7 saucy dishes and 7 dry dishes (the combinations make little sense but I proceeded in good faith). In order to make a fair judgement I tried to place my order to taste a variety of their dishes. The vegetable & Egg fried rice are a huge disappointment, thick grains of rice with 0 taste and a dismal array of vegetables. The only noodle option (vegetable noodles) were equally as disappointing if not more, the egg noodles looked more like boiled spaghetti, there was no shine or glisten as you have come to expect from Chinese noodles. I also tried the chilli chicken, chicken in black bean sauce, and Malaysian chicken. All of the chickens tasted as though it had been prepared the same and thrown in sauces bought from Tesco’s prepared jars. For the dry dishes I had the salt & pepper chicken, crispy chicken & shezuan been stir fry. The only dish that I would probably try a second time is the crispy chicken as it had some mild oriental taste. If the owners had more time and money on better chefs trained in their cuisine and less time/ money on advertising the opening day with an Italian looking chef on stilts walking up & down ilford lane I feel they would have done a little better. I do not recommend this...

Ordered food on the phone for collection , i was half n hour away from the shop so asked them if they could have my order ready before i come , so soon as i arrived my food is ready to collect . the rude woman on the phone said it gets busy at this time so the sooner you come the sooner we can start making it . i kindly requested again if they could start making it now so its ready before i arrived , so i don't have to wait around because i had work . I turned up at the shop and asked for my order they said its not ready yet we are making it now , the woman that took the order was hiding from the till and another person served me. At this point i was annoyed because i had to go work and i would be late , i asked them how long it would take and they said 2-3 mins , 18 minutes later they had my food ready which was just disgusting service. I went back to my car to eat only to see the workers there were rushing for no reason to serve other people's food and had put less chicken in the noodle box it was just packed with alot of rice and less of toppings , they also don't take card payments and only cash. Food is okay nothing special but the staff need to fix up and their attitude is appauling theres alot of things that need to be corrected not happy at all , i don't usually write reviews but i couldn't accept this kind of service and behaviour , hope you guys sort your...

I tried this place because my brother said it was good and yummy. I went to try it and the service and the look of the restaurant was great. the minute I got my food I knew it was a small portion. it even said large but the portion looked like a small from Chopstix. the food don’t even get me started. I ordered vegetable noodles, crispy chicken and chips. out of all, the noodles were decent but they weren’t vegetable. just dumped with red sauce and one pea. However, the way the food was so hard got me. the chips were barely enough and the chicken was so hard to chew and digest. The chips were like rock hard and just a few as you can see in the picture. why am I paying £9.45 FOR THIS. the portion and quality is not worth the price. I honestly am so disappointed and I won’t ever come back.

so i was in store today to eat Chinese food , but huge disappointment. it was far away from Chinese. noodles were not egg noodles , was boiled spaghetti with only one string of bell pepper in all those vegetable noodles. i got spicy chips and noodles, oh dear me the taste was more like Asian and not Chinese whatsoever. big no no no no to oodles. i would never recommend it for 8 pound for tasteless food. thank god it was 50% off otherwise it was just wast of money. even for 4 pound large it wasn't good enough. I have tried Chinese almost everywhere in London and by far this is the worse one.

I order a large box meal: egg friend rice and noodles with sweet and sour chicken and crispy chicken for the meat options. For sides I ordered some spring rolls and salt and pepper wings. On receiving my order I thought it was going to be good 😩😩 The rice and noodles had no taste, lack flavour/ bland and disgusting tbh. The sweet and sour chicken was definitely not sweet and sour the red sauce ran everywhere and wasn’t appealing at all. The crispy chicken was passable. The only thing I enjoyed were the salt and pepper wings and spring rolls which Ill give 5/10.
