Oriental Garden — Restaurant in London

Myself and my family recently moved into the area and were astonished at the bland fast food available, compared to that of the where we used to live. From the Chicken and Chips to the Chinese restaurants the taste just wasn't 'there' and it was pricy.

After accepting that we'd just have to live with b;land food, until we can travel out of the area, we searched for more restaurants in Bromley and came across Oriental Garden.

Firstly, the service was excellent. We ordered via telephone, delivery and both the receptionist and delivery man were kind, polite and upbeat.

We weren't expecting too much from the food, but we were surprised to find that it was actually very good. Cooked well, brilliant fresh taste, and not bland/just the right amount of seasoning etc.

The Sweet and Sour (Hong Kong Style), Special Fried Rice and Chicken Wings (with salt and pepper) were all excellent.

Have ordered takeaway from this Restaurant for some years and it has always been spot on. A recent change in management had me concerned but the food is still delicious! Having reopened ‘dining in’, we tried the a la carte all you can eat feast on a Sunday. Absolutely loved the duck pancakes, some of the best I’ve had. Everything is cooked fresh to order. The new owner is super friendly and brings the food out herself. It’s a shame the restaurant isn’t busier but hopefully if they keep up the quality food and service plus market a bit more this...

For some fun took the family along for a Chinese on our 20th wedding anniversary. Such lovely staff, looked after us well and offered free drinks and a bottle of fizz to celebrate.

The eat in buffet is a real bargain! Four very full and happy customers. Such a broad choice of food to choose from and duck pancakes were amazing!

My daughter had double satays and we all really enjoyed the food. No brainer for a really nice feast where you can try a new dish or two. Do get along and support these...
