I’ve been here several times but this time I was very doubtful if the chef has been changed. We ordered seabream and pork sausage ravioli for the main and both were very very disappointing. Ravioli was stuffed with cheese and mushrooms and it didn’t go very well with the pork ragu sauce. It was not fresh and not heated properly either. And that made the dish smelled a bit weird. Seabream was even worse than that. The fish itself was not very fresh, obviously I could tell. But what was the worst was the side dish. Grilled potato was soggy and brocollie was overcooked with too much oil in it... as you can see from one of the pictures it was just easily smashed with fork. Starter was good though. Burrata was nice though it would’ve been nicer if they put some olive oil on it and baked aubergine was very tasty. But in general after paying about 45pound in total. I felt it was not worth it.

Lovely Italian restaurant with a beautiful outdoor. Osteria Tufo has been a stable in Finsbury Park for many years and it’s always been a great place to visit for good food. They have a variety of great pasta dishes - and no pizza which is a plus for me. We had bruschetta and caponata siliciana for starters, latter was recommended and did not disappoint. Really delicious and I would also recommend it. We had the spaghetti and the pesto orecchiette for mains, both great and perfectly al dente, with the orecchiette being just that extra bit good. Perfect pesto sauce to go with sundried tomato, honestly would also go for this next time. Tiramisu for dessert which also hit the mark. The service was great, they created a really lovely atmosphere. Osteria Tufo is absolutely perfect for a good meal on a sunny day.

Dilemma: should I tell all of Google how fabulous this place is, or keep it to myself? Everything was so wonderful, friendly, fresh (I mean, even our servers were delightfully fresh) and look at that cannoli. The pastry is so crisp and delicate it's letting sunbeams glow from underneath. Everything we had was delicious from the Caponata Siciliana to the Scialatielli Pesce Spada. But the cannoli. Best cannoli I've had outside of Italy. When Paola, the proprietor, heard it was our bestie's birthday, she brought a second dessert with a candle and all. Our first night out in a gazillion months and how lovely it was. A skilled kitchen in a warm neighbourhood place that's like taking a vacation for the evening.

Having been to many Italian restaurants across London unfortunately this one only deserves two stars. I went to Osteria Tufo late on Saturday night about 10pm and the restaurant was still almost full. It's very small and the tables are very close to each other so you end up overhearing conversations of other people which is the last thing you want on a nice evening with your partner. Tables have a paper cover and the menu is one laminated A4 page. The dessert menu is similar and looks like it has seen better days, the corners of the laminated page are split.. On arrival we received complimentary tap water and a pea-basil dip/hummus with two small squares of something like combination of bread and eggs. We ordered one burrata to share, whole sea bass and ravioli. Food was ok, rather small portions and nothing outstanding. For dessert we ordered one 'Baba-rum' traditional Neapolitan dessert. It didn't taste great. Piece of fried dough soaked in semi-sweet alcoholic syrup served with chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce wasn't nice at all, like a cheap sauce from supermarket. We didn't drink so I can't comment on wine. The service was ok and the food was served fairly quickly. Toilets are downstairs, very basic but clean, with Tesco value liquid soap and a hand dryer outside on the corridor between male and female toilets. There is nothing to complain really for the price you pay you can get far better experience. We paid about £48 for above mentioned food plus one small black coffee. I wouldn't return as it is too expensive for what it is. It just looks like a business and not much effort is put into making your dinner a great experience. Its always the details that make the difference between two...

I've been this to this nice and cozy restaurant very close to Finsbury park station. I wasn't quite sure when I would arrive so I reserved a table and I was super glad I did it. In the evening close to 7 just after we arrived, 15 minutes later the place was full.

When I called the restaurant to reserve a table the person who took the call said please do not rush and they held the place for us. Once we were there, they ensured we were all right, the drive was safe and walked us to our table.

A lady gave us the Menu card-which had all the options for drinks including non alcoholic ones and food- at first I was a bit worried because I am a vegetarian and I was not sure if I would find many options in there but to my surprise there was a variety to choose it was just the way they were laid out it was all difficult for me to read. Again it was just me and nothing to do with the menu. We ordered drinks, I asked the lady what are the best vegetarian options so she immediately gave us few options, and we all decided to go ahead with her suggestion. They all arrived very very quickly -4 mains, 3 starters, 4 drinks.

I should have taken the pictures to share them, the food was delicious. Asked kids if they wanted to see the pudding menu -again a lot to chose from- I went for the vegan chocolate cake -that was the most delicious of all , super tasty. We also order Tiramisu, Gelato. Some of the options had nuts in them, so please be careful and ask the staff .

One of the staff who brought us food was singing so nicely, and few other guests joined him- felt soo nice .What a pleasant evening for a Sunday just to start your week...

First and last visit to this restaurant. Seen it whilst walking by numerous times and was excited to finally go there. No tables outside - fair enough as we didnt book so took our seats inside. The table was very small for 4 people and lots of minding elbows whilst reviewing the menus. The main guy (assumption) appears to believe that bellowing opaque phrases is actually singing and when you mix this with an echoey dining room its deafening. Extrememly annoying as it continued all throughout the evening and reminded me of a train blowing its horn in a tunnel. The food on the menu sounded delicious however the reality was way off. The monkfish paccheri was totally overcooked, asparagus so obliterated it looked like mushy peas and the "monkfish" was flaky leading us to believe it wasnt actually monkfish at all. The whole bream had a funky smell to it and the accompanying black rice and courgette was very underwhelming. I dont normally leave bad reviews as often its subjective however given this place has a 4.6 review i felt compelled to give an honest appraisal. I absolutely would not recommend...
