Paleta Polish Kitchen — Restaurant in London

Nothing like the old reviews. The pictures here are absolutely not representative of what you should expect coming here since they seem to have changed locations and much more.

The food was less than mediocre. I had red borscht which actually doesn't taste like beetroot, the main ingredient. You'll find ready soups at supermarkets with a more authentic taste. My mum couldn't finish her żurek, so I finished it to not waste food. Again it didn't really taste all that great and was very watery and the sausage was overcooked. I had ordered pork ribs and they were rather unpleasant, I could taste that the ribs (which were all separate) came from different batches because only one piece has no boar taint, whilst the other pieces were a range of how much boar taint you could taste. To top it off the meat was also of different textures rib to rib and even in some cases, section of rib to section. So if you enjoy eating dry rubber, these ribs are a dream come true for you, I personally like it when the ribs are tender and juicy so these were absolutely rancid. At one point I swallowed such a chewy stand out meat that I unconsciously gagged. Basically our whole party was unimpressed by the food.

But I wont say only negative things about their food, because that would be unfair. My sister was pleased with her pierogi, so much so that she asked for the leftovers to be packed for takeout... To which the waiters brought to the teenage girl a cardboard container for her to do it herself.

Our main waitress was okay. But the other waitress that took away the barely touched ribs I had away, she assured me that she'd take them to the kitchen for them to see what's wrong with them and never came back after that. So my family paid for 4 soups, 3 beverages and 4 main dishes, when only 3 were half eaten.

I would advise anyone who's looking for authentic Polish cuisine to stay away from this 'restaurant' because it's only bringing a bad name to it. If you are any good at cooking, you'll probably make far better Polish food at home than this Polish restaurant on...

I am absolutely enchanted by my visit to Paleta Kitchen! Undoubtedly, it is one of the best restaurants I have been to recently. Both the food and service are top-notch, but it's the exceptional drinks crafted by Sylwia that stole my heart.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I felt transported to a different world. The ambiance was incredibly pleasant and relaxing. The staff was exceptionally courteous and friendly, which added to the charm of the whole experience.

Now, let's talk about the most important aspect - the food and drinks. The menu at Paleta Kitchen offers a wide range of flavours, and the dishes are prepared with the freshest ingredients. Everything we ordered was simply divine. From appetisers to mains, and desserts - each dish was full of flavour and creatively composed.

However, it is Sylwia’s drinks that truly set this restaurant apart. Her skill in blending flavours and creating new, unique concoctions is simply phenomenal. I ordered one of her signature blends, and I was blown away. Each sip of the beverage was an explosion of flavours on my palate - hands down, the best drink I've ever had!

Additionally, I appreciated Paleta Kitchen's focus on local produce and eco-friendliness, which only enhanced my impression of this place.

I am certain that I will return to Paleta Kitchen at the earliest opportunity. This restaurant surprised me on so many levels, and Sylwia’s exceptional drinks are what distinguishes this place from others.

I had ordered food from there on a regular basics 2-3x week. I've had on and off issues with quality as they tend to be not very consistent, but never complained as was simply hungry after long day at work. Today had someone else’s order delivered and driver wizzed off before i managed to call him. This was not only half price of mine and none of food matched not to mention it was useless to me as i am allergic to this meal. Restaurant first said that they'll call me back. 50 min later i had to call them back myself as no one called just to hear " oh sorry i thought i was calling you " . Then to just say it’s not their problem as they just put food out for deliveries somewhere on the side and pretty much don’t care from there what happens to it. So basically anyone wearing any delivery gear can just come in scoop the food from them and thats it , and they'll take no responsibility for customer care. I've called hoping for simple solution as any restaurant did in the past when it comes to errors - just simply re-fire the order as am simply hungry but was just told/ its not their problem and there is nothing they can offer as a solution.
