Palki — Restaurant in London

My family and I recently dined at Polki Indian Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the owner and seated promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with soft lighting and beautiful Indian decor.

The menu at Polki offers a wide variety of traditional Indian dishes, and it was hard to choose just one. I ended up asking the owner for suggestions and he recommended the variety dishes. The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sauce had the perfect balance of spices. The naan was warm and soft, and it complemented the dish perfectly.

The portion sizes at Polki are generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service.

Speaking of service, the staff at Polki were attentive and friendly throughout my entire meal. They checked on me regularly to ensure that everything was to my liking and promptly refilled my water glass. The waitstaff was also knowledgeable about the menu and able to answer any questions I had.

Our family with two teenage kids visited London for a few days and as we are all big fans of Indian food we took the opportunity and went to an Indian restaurant in England. As we regularly visit Indian food, we even cook Indian food ourselves, it is not easy to really suprise us and make us very happy. The food here is really very delicious. We ordered to meals from the "chefs recommandation" that brought a smile onto our face. My son ordered a Chicken Tikka Masalla which was good but compared to the other meals a bit more simple and it tasted a bit too much after tomatoes. Fazit. A great restaurant with very delicious food at a fair price with very friendly owner and staff. We will definetely go there a again next time we are in London. I have just eaten quite possibly the best Tandoori King Prawns on the planet! The Palki restaurant is a small friendly place with obvious regular custom. I ate alone, they don't serve alcohol but I wasn't particularly bothered. The food is fresh, perfectly cooked perfectly spiced and just delicious. I had the garlic mushrooms to start which were good, followed by the Tandoori King Prawns, four in total which one could hear coming sizzling hot from the kitchen door. It was served with a fresh salad and a vegetable paratha. Dessert followed which was a delicious Matka Kulfi, creamy kulfi ice cream topped with pistachio nuts. The only downside was the steady stream of delivery people coming in from the street for takeaways, so the door let in the cold air from time to time, but I must say the restaurant was lovely and warm.
