I am writing to formally document one of the most shameful and unprofessional experiences I have ever encountered with any food delivery service.

On [Date], I placed an order at 7:30 PM with: Papa John’s Woolwich 30 Woolwich New Road London SE18 6AB United Kingdom

The delivery was supposed to take 20 minutes. When I called at 8:00 PM, your staff lied to my face, claiming the pizza was already on its way. I waited another 30 minutes, and still no delivery driver appeared.

This isn’t just a delay—it’s a deliberate deception and shows a complete lack of respect for customers.

I will be making a personal visit to this location to see firsthand how you operate, and I will be documenting everything for public record. I am also preparing to escalate this issue to Trading Standards

Your consistently low ratings are no coincidence—it’s clear that you repeatedly fail your customers and think you can get away with it.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay away from Papa John’s Woolwich. This branch is run by a team of incompetent and dishonest people, and the management should be held fully responsible.

I will not rest until the public is fully aware of how you operate.

Been ordering here a long time. Quality is consistently going down. I don't know if it's new staff or an issue with your oven but last 5 or 6 orders all not up to standard. Base very inconsistent - thicker on one side - does oven need looking at??

I don't like complaining - but it's happening too many times now. And last night's was even worse. Took 70 minutes to arrive, was cold, and looked like it had been cut by a blindfolded child... Can't believe that was sent out tbh. One slice was - honestly - 1.5 inches wide and 3 inches long. With loads of inch size 'squares' of pizza in the centre of it where the misaligned cuts all cross. I took a picture but it doesn't seem to have saved which is a shame - it was quite absurd to see. Supposedly thin crust, it was very thick and chewy. Just disappointing all round; you're not cheap and I know it's meant to be better than this.

Papa John's is great when it's good - but recently it just hasn't been, over and over. I don't complain when something I know is good usually has one off day but this is repeated and worsening. I'm put off and won't be ordering again for a while - I truly hope these issues are resolved by...

I ordered a Large Stuffed Crust create your own pizza. Plus dips. I had noticed immediately after placing the order online, that I had accidentally selected collection. I called the Woolwich shop and they said they would deliver it for an additional fee of £5. I was waiting by the window and noticed a red car pull park outside my address. The car was sat there for sometime and the driver appeared to be eating something.I checked my phone as I thought that must have been the delivery driver. I had a missed call so I called it back. The person on the other end of the phone then said you ordered for collection and the car drove off at speed. So I called the shop and they said that was the boss you should have gone out to get the pizza and I explained I wasn't able to do this as the car had drove off. The delivery driver never knocked at the door which is why I wasn't originally sure it was the driver until I checked my phone.

I would like a refund as I never received the pizza...
