Papadam — Restaurant in London

We often go into this restaurant as it’s very near our house, food is good. Often the restaurant is empty but they seem to have a lot of take aways. Tonight we tried to order a take away, haven’t had any since the lockdown so was pretty excited, 2 hours later (starving now) and still waiting for the food despite 2 calls. My advice is don’t order online without calling, as when we called an hour after ordering, it seemed like they hadn’t even prepared the food. Disappointed as was looking forward to the meal but so hungry by the time it arrived and annoyed as it was very late...

We ordered a takeaway from Papadum last night and went for a vegetable Dhansak for the first time and we were blown away by the flavour. It’s one of the best dishes we’ve had from any takeaway of late. They gave us extra popadoms which we hugely appreciated, and the coconut was made beautifully. We got five dishes for a great price. The only surprise was the courgette bhaji because we were expecting a fried courgette like an onion bhaji with tempura batter, but we have since learned it can also mean a curry. Very disappointed, this was our pay day treat we have ordered from Papadam before and really enjoyed the service and food Tonight we ordered and waited for far too long for our food without any update on our delivery from the restaurant We had to call them twice to get an update on when our delivery was due we waited an hour and a half and then had to find the driver who was lost When it arrived the Popadoms were smashed to pieces,food leaking in bag very messy and after finally sitting down to eat half way through our meal OH found a bit of...
