A hidden gem at the heat of Richmond. A bit Spartan when you first walk in with only a few tables but don’t let that fool you because you’re in for a treat. We ordered mussels (chef’s special) and the Fritto Misto as starters to share. The mussels were excellent with delicious flavours from the sauce and very nice presented. Fritto Misto with nice battering and a tasty Aioli. As mains we ordered Linguine Frutti Di Mare, Linguine Nduja Stracciatella and Spigola Alla Griglia (Seabass). Every dish a 5-star. Wife stated “Best fish I’ve ever had in a restaurant”. Daughter loved the Frutti Di Mare and The Linguine with spicy Nduja in creamy tomato sauce with the authentic burrata was stunning. Massive compliment to Chef Dos Santos. For dessert I ordered a Crème brûlée even if I was totally full after the delicious meal. The size was well for the three of us and we still didn’t manage to finish it. Very tasteful as well though. Very friendly waiter that managed all the tables by him self and without letting anyone wait for long to get his attention. Will definitely return here and can...
Read moreSuper little side-street Italian restaurant that delivers top quality food packed full of flavours. My brother was very impressed with the burrata, the milky mozzarella offset by the peppery rocket; my millefoglie was deliciously creamy, the aubergine baked so it virtually melted. My risotto came bursting with truffle oil scent, was soft and succulent. The penne came topped with deep fried courgette strips. The home baked focaccia came with olives, was crispy and salty. Desserts were two baked chocolate gateaux. Almost too much chocolate. Wine, of course, from Sicily. The restaurant is tiny, but welcoming. The team were friendly. Presentation immaculate. A fantastic find in a town packed full of restaurants. I was surprised it was quie, but thankful as we arrived without booking. An excellent evening...
