For those who read this review, I hope my words will be able to encapsulate my feelings:
Eating at Pisco's was the most delightful experience I had this year, not just culinary, but also culturally and socially.
Alejandro the owner and his staff are among the kindest and sweetest hosts I have met in my life, Alejandro will make sure that you are always pleased and happy with his charming smile.
About the food: The pallet of flavors I have met at Pisco's humbles me and makes me understand that I have so much more to explore. Fantastic connection between top quality ingredients, it can't feel more authentic, the dishes are served beautifully. I could not keep the excitement in me, the flavors were super rich and wonderful.
Alejandro guided us with what dishes to start with as we were new to the Peruvian kitchen. We loved the roasted corn, and the yellow sauce, I am getting hungry again 🤤
On top of that, we had some delicious drinks again suggested by sweet Alejandro, which were EXCELLENT!!!
I kind of wish that only a specific crowd will get to know this place, so it's magic is shared among few, but this food is so healing I want the whole world to know!
Alejandro, I am forever grateful and I am promising myself and Pisco's that I will visit every time I...
Read moreAbsolutely blown away by our experience at Pisco Dalston – an easy 5-star spot that delivered not just amazing food, but a true taste of Peru right in the heart of London.
We kicked things off with empanadas and papa a la huancaína—both were flawless. The empanadas were golden, crispy, and packed with flavour, and the huancaína sauce was creamy with just the right kick, exactly how it’s meant to be.
For mains, we had the ceviche and arroz con mariscos. The ceviche was fresh, zingy, and bursting with that classic Peruvian punch, while the arroz con mariscos was rich, hearty, and full of perfectly cooked seafood.
Dessert was a dream—alfajores that melted in your mouth and crema volteada that was smooth, sweet, and comforting.
One little touch that really made it feel like home? They had live Peruvian TV playing in the background—a small detail, but it brought such a nostalgic and authentic vibe to the whole place.
Huge thanks to Edwin, who was absolutely superb—warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about sharing Peruvian food and culture. His recommendations and service made the night unforgettable.
If you’re looking for real Peruvian flavour and hospitality in London, Pisco Dalston is the place. ¡Nos...
Read moreWe arrived ready for pisco sours but they were so sweet, we asked for extra lime juice. Unfortunately they brought us lime syrup. So I asked what their wine was (advertised as Premium and Regular). No wine. So we asked if we could buy our own. Yes. Three bottles ended up as £40 on the bill which would be steep for an off licence with chairs, never mind somewhere that had no wine in stock. We were also charged for 6 pisco sours when we only had 5.
The food was the reason I went, on a Vittles recommendation. And it was okay .. very much the Asian influenced side of things. Tasty, but not amazing. And not like the food my friend had in Peru. Also. A restaurant 5 minutes from Ridley Road market couldn't source any fresh seafood?
All very chaotic, food not up to much, drinks and...
